CORON PALAWAN ~
Coron has always been part of every traveler’s bucket list and I’ve had a chance to visit this island last September 2018.
I just can’t contain my happiness seeing Coron. This place is mesmerizing and has its own uniqueness, kind locals and delicious foods (I miss Jacob’s Shawarma). It’s probably my best travel ever..
Can’t wait to be back in this beautiful and amazing island, explore and learned again especially the Culion Island and other beaches not included in our tour package plus some cafe hopping in town.💛
Location: Barracuda Lake, Coron, Palawan
Barracuda lake is one of the lakes in Coron where you can do scuba diving and snorkeling. This lake is a mix of salt water and fresh water. They offer scuba diving lessons here but I didn’t take the lessons (as I’m a scaredy cat lol). I enjoyed snorkeling because there are a lot of fishes in this lake. You can actually spot different fishes like the famous barracuda (if you dive), gobie, trouver, trevally and maybe some more fishes that I don’t know about and the tour guide didn’t mention much.
The view of the lake is stunningly beautiful as it is surrounded by limestone cliffs and trees. The clear water makes it a perfect snorkeling spot as well as diving spot and it is very very deep (that’s why I was like scared to swim lol).
I’m not much of a swimmer, tbh I suck lol, but they gave us life vest so I’m okay (HAHA) and they actually do not allow you to go swimming without the vests because of some incidents in the past, but there are lifeguards on duty so if you still ever drown, someone will rescue you.
The best part of going here is the climb, it’s not much of a climb like the one in Kayangan Lake but it made it more exciting. Sometimes the steps are slippery though so you better be careful and hold onto the rails. Overall, I would love to go back to Coron and still go here. There are lots of islands you can visit and the beaches are all white sand but that would be for another post.

PALAWAN NEEDS YOU
Hey guys! Tumblr Survivor: Palawan is nearing its one year anniversary. It was an amazing season and the hosts had fun hosting their first main season as well.
Palawan, Philippines was chosen because of it being the last frontier of the Philippines. It has incredible clear, white sand beaches and their marine wild life is stunning. But what if I tell you that a huge company is going to destroy it in favor of building a marine waterpark? Nickelodeon is planning on building a SpongeBob Squarepants waterpark on Coron, Palawan. It would ruin the marine ecosystem in Coron.
Why am I posting this? Because Palawan needs you. It needs you to save Coron!
#CoronIsNotBikiniBottom
THERE IS A PETITION GOING ON AND WE NEED SIGNATURES AND WITHIN 24 HOURS IT MANAGED TO GET OVER 100,000 SIGNATURES.
With it, it might stop the planning and construction of the waterpark and save the natural resources and the wildlife of Coron.
If you want to sign the petition you can find it here.
