Mike and I went in this cozy cafe (a few steps away from UPLB) to meet my high school friend. I’ve had an amazing weekend because the three of us have had long talks and laugh trip moments. Nothing has changed.
I highly recommend this cafe when you visit UPLB.😍
NORDIC HOMES | 📍CITYLAND - TAGAYTAY PRIME RESIDENCES ~
I’m living my Pinterest dream! — even just for a day.
Our unit is Nordic Chic. Such a cozy place for me. Look how lovely their interiors.
Imagine, waking up every day with that view plus warm weather while sipping your favorite coffee with the love of your life — talking about life, career, future plans and the likes.
Coron has always been part of every traveler’s bucket list and I’ve had a chance to visit this island last September 2018.
I just can’t contain my happiness seeing Coron. This place is mesmerizing and has its own uniqueness, kind locals and delicious foods (I miss Jacob’s Shawarma). It’s probably my best travel ever..
Can’t wait to be back in this beautiful and amazing island, explore and learned again especially the Culion Island and other beaches not included in our tour package plus some cafe hopping in town.💛
There is a home hidden in the quaint town of San Antonio, Zambales -that is CASA SAN MIGUEL (Center for the Arts in San Antonio Zambales), where introvert dreams are made of. Ancestral home, music & art gallery and a coffee shop.
This 15-hectare ancestral home is owned by the Corpus-Bolipata clan and in 1993, Casa San Miguel Foundation was founded by renowned violinist Coke Bolipata. They have several programs and workshops to hone and showcase talent/skills of the locals.
It was almost midday when we arrived. There were some children skillfully practicing the violin. Ms. Vergee (locals called her Aunt Vergee) gave us a tour around the place and explained the history of CASA San Miguel. This place was built on four mediums:
Being an art center, there is a hall where performances are held and exhibits are displayed. It takes place every Sunday and they called it SUNDAY’S BEST.
Every year, children enroll in summer camp at CASA San Miguel for 2 months where they immerse themselves in learning art and music.
Ohh! hello there T-shirt. Suplado eh. 😂 😂 😂
📍 Backstage Cafe
After the tour, Mike and I headed straight in CASA Backstage Cafe to redeem our unlimited brewed coffee (Starbucks-their major sponsor). BTW, Entrance fee in CASA San Miguel is only P100.00 with a complimentary drinks (coffee/iced tea). Part of it will go to their scholars.
I bet the Backstage Cafe’s al fresco area looks stunning at night. 😍
We chose a table next to a coffee station so we can easily access the unlimited drink. Hehehe. The wooden furniture, the vintage photos on the wall and the aroma of brewed coffee fill this cozy cafe with charm, warmth, and good vibes. Feels like home. 😊 😊 😊
📍 Pasilyo Country Living and Bookstore
Adjacent to CASA San Miguel is the fanciful Pasilyo Country Living and Bookstore . Felt like I’m Alice of ‘Alice in Wonderland’. 😋 There is art in every inch. A vintage Volkswagen Kombi was converted into a bookstore.
You'll find nooks and crannies where you can rest, read and eat.
According to Auntie Vergee, CASA transforms every year. I look forward to that and I will definitely come back here and try their B&B or their Island tour.
If you want a different kind of weekend, let CASA San Miguel surprise you with its natural charm.
This place have a special place in my heart. I hope someday, Mike and I could be one of the sponsors of this organization. 🤞 🙏 😍
