summary .. jealous corpse in regards to his partner
“I can’t believe Dave really thought he’d get away with that!” You shouted into your mic, nearly knocking it over amongst all of you and Corpse’s laughter.
The two of you had been playing with the group for about two hours now, teaming up every once in a while and sussing each other out on the rare occasion where mistrust was evident.
Your viewers were digging up the content that they liked to trend as “corpse x y/n”, constantly tagging and complimenting your dynamic and overall relationship.
The fanbase that you and Corpse had was nothing but supportive. You were both so grateful for the love you’d been shown when you, each a successful youtube gamer in your own ways, revealed that you’d been dating.
Sure, there were a few negative remarks made by bitter anons who preferred to hide behind a screen rather than put a name to their words—but you and your boyfriend chose to find humor in their misery.
Particularly in this particular anon, who’d chosen to comment something absolutely ridiculous during your current Among Us stream that was taking a five minute break.
“How could Corpse possibly bag someone like Y/N?” You read out loud, Corpse craned his neck to see your screen, sitting closely beside you at the desk. “I could one hundred percent take care of her in all of the ways he never could.”
You started to giggle at the thought of a complete stranger comforting you rather than Corpse—Corpse who was perfect for you in every possible way.
While you found the comment hilarious and moved on without question, the anon’s thoughts seemed to linger in Corpse’s mind. He went quiet for a little bit, silently nodding to everything you said.
Knowing the ways in which your boyfriend responds in certain situations, you knew that something was up. Corpse was never this unresponsive with you, especially when the fans were watching.
“What’s up, love?” You asked, muting your mic so the viewers would be in bliss unawareness of the serious conversation you were about to have.
Corpse sighed, running his hand through his hair before hugging your waist. “Do you think I might not be good enough for you?” He asked, little lingers of jealousy on his mind from the anon’s claim.
“Actually forget that,” he shook his head, kissing your cheek roughly and rubbing your shoulders. “I know I’m good enough for you. Who does that guy think he is, flirting with my girl?”
You rolled your eyes, patting the top of his head once while pushing him away. “You tell me, Mr. Ego. I didn’t know jealousy made you cocky.”
Corpse pouted, opening his arms to tell you that he wanted you close again. “I wouldn’t be jealous if you’d just let me hold you.”
With that you caved, standing up and stepping into his warm arms once again, right where you belonged.
