sorry for minor radio silence lol.. sometimes i get a bit depressed and can't work on anything but i managed to get some work done.
so for now i think there will be a released demo of 3 days and only 2-3~ routes to start off, but then after that i think ill slowly update it piece by piece as me and the team work on it and the assets..
ive started working more on day 2 again and am working more on the system that will actually get you w/ each character.. like trust points kinda..
ive also started finally adding in the bg assets and different placeholders so hopefully sometime soon we'll have a few rough demo images of the game 🥹🥹🥹🥹

The first day or the "prologue" is finally done. youve met all the dateables and now its on to me coding the actual routes.
each dateable will have 7 dates varying in intimacy, starting at school and eventually ending up in their house or somewhere presonal to them.
ive alslo gotten all the background assets but this is where things will slow down on coding and i start working on writing each date and ending, which will be updated..
i already have vague ideas of e & d's and adams.. i was also thinking of making a discord server maybe for the game if u guys were interested.
I will be bringing character creation to Shoot Up My Heart! ive also added putting in your own name and custom pronouns.. im working like a dog for this game.. finished most of dylans sprites, eric is next then adam!!!

hii im sammy or samael, and im gonna try to share more info on perps i think dont get enough attention or info.. my first one is james holmes the perp for the 2012 aurora theatre shooting!
James Holmes was born in 1987 on dec 13, full name James Eagan Holmes. James Holmes was only 22 at the time of the shooting, it was heavily suspected that he had a schizoaffective disorder of some kind, stating that he saw visions in the corners of his eyes shooting at eachother or just simple flickers of light.
A lot of things about shooters is trying to figure out their motives, whyd they do it? What lead them to killing that many people?
Holmes had an idea of an equation in his mind, wondering what was truly equal in a system of justice. All men were made equal to him, but what would change that? In his journal he would continuously talk about going over the different kinds of morality, what kinds of solutions it would lead to and what kind of solutions there were to the problems of injustice.
(His notes were scanned very poorly so it was quite hard to figure out what exactly it was saying, but different entries discussing these equations can be seen. A link to my source of his notebook, along with ones with a licensed psychologists annotations which I found helpful in writing this!!)
He thought that mankind hadn't found a better solution to truth, a better solution to injustice and instead would almost immediately go to immoral or unjust acts like murders or like the shootings he had committed.
In his notes he even talked about being disgusted by these thoughts of violence, being disgusted by the thoughts of these horrific acts and wanting to find an alternative, looking for one his entire life..
Aswell as this we see his list of alternatives, trying to ignore the problems in society completely, therefore making them irrelevant, or delay the problem entirely by just "living in the moment", in his notebook we can see his rapid decline mentally, his thoughts going from trying to avoid, trying to see whats wrong with him and eventually snapping, filling his pages begging why? asking why he was given this shit to begin with..
After this page with a big WHY in the center and a question mark he starts to plan. He didn't want to send message, the message that there wasn't any... he was struggling and nobody gave him help that he needed so he enacted his plan.
The last page in his notebook, or the last line just said, "The reason why life should exist is as (?????) why it shouldn't. Life shouldn't exist."
For the last part I couldn't figure out what that one word said.. tried my best tho.
I think that James Holmes is super interesting because of why he did it especially the movie hec hose... tdkr???
his views on society and shit really interest me and i wish i could sit dpwn and talk to him. poor dude needed help just like the rest of shooters and didnt get shit so he killed a bunch of people.. one of the most well thought out plans ive seen so far tho and it was basically a schizopost by orange joker. genuinely might turn into one of my favs tho. hes interesting and this shooting happened just a day before sandy hook!!!
