“It’s getting late, Char.”

Clockwork sets aside the book he’d been idly reading to Char while they were curled up and half-draped in his lap on his bed.  His other hand has been carding through Char’s hair for the past several minutes, settling and resettling it smoothly.  He can tell that they’re not really listening anymore, but they’ve done plenty enough learning about the history of the Ghost Zone and whatever else Clockwork thinks they need to know already today that he isn’t annoyed by it.  

Ghost-form or not, Char is still half-human and limited by the constraints of their human needs.  He could always change that…  but it would make them less unique.  Less special.  Less useful.

“You should get some rest.”

Pacifica looked at her reflection in the pond, anxiously tugging at her hair. It almost seemed weird to have it down. She so rarely wore it that way. But she hadn’t had time to put on any makeup before she crept out of the house, and she had to hide the bruising somehow. She didn’t want Gideon to panic.

She loved hanging out with Gideon. It was just so fun she could let loose and forget about the things she didn’t want to think about. She wondered what sort of adventure they’d end up on today.

I have finished the banner for my Corrupt Reverse Falls AU. Adding it to my Verses page now. Here’s the whole picture. I based her dress off a mix of Reverse Pines outfits, and her Gravity Rises dress. My headcanon is that the dress is one of Mabel’s old dresses and Dipper gave her the necklace.
