i am genuinely in tears he looks so funny i just know im gonna love him

one of my favorite parts of ralph is that despite being at the mercy and under the thumb of a negligent and abusive company, he still tries to help you in anyway he can. he has to sugarcoat and allude and nudge to not get his voice silenced, and his dying wish is simply to make sure his corpse is found, that he won’t rot here and be forgotten.
the one and only time he drops the corporate facade is when the stakes are at their highest: the moments before his death and the night 6 call in fnaf 2. scott cawthon did a fantastic job portraying the dread and fear someone in his situation would feel: ultimately at the mercy of a company who doesn’t care about you.”
what gets me is that ralph isn’t a washed up bitter man who hates his pizza joint job, far from it! he loves working at freddy’s, he loves the joy these characters bring, and he loves the characters themselves. i see something like frankie in him, people who love the creations of the company and may not be able to accept the horrifying reality that lay beneath the colors and fur and songs. he stayed with fazbears because he needed the money.
fnaf in its early years was one of the best horror scenarios ever. before the remnant, before the books and mimic and micheal being a zombie too angry to die, the games were about a series of three nightguards fighting for their lives against a bunch scared and confused children and all of them have been done wrong by a company who, again, DOES NOT CARE.
i love fnaf. i love ralph.
obsessed with the implication that ralph (phone guy) was such a goated nightguard that it took all 5 of the og animatronics ganging up on him to kill him. ily ralph
since a lot of my online friends live nowhere near me i get to tell them about my favorite roller coasters and see them be horrified when i tell them my favorite coaster of all time has an interlocking loop de loop
hector and his ability to detach his body parts; a ramble
i really like how hector uses his skeleton ability to detach and reattach his limbs and head.
while most of the skeletons we see in the movie would only reconstruct themselves if knocked over, hector willingly and purposefully detached his limbs and lets himself fall apart like a lego statue because it helps him get from point a to point b faster.
hector does it for a variety of reasons, as well! he can do it to emphasize a point as seen when he’s talking to the guard after getting arrested
to physically show off and be entertaining
or to get from one point to another or however else you describe this
hector as far as i remember one of if not THE only skeleton who willingly does it this often. i also like how weird he moves
most other skeletons walk as they did in life, but hector? his walk is shaky and jittery, so much so miguel tries to mimic it to “blend in”.
idk hector is really cool to me
it’s my birthday
