A few days ago I was about to lace up my corset while getting ready for work, I noticed the steel boning had popped out of the corset on the bottom next to the lacing. I got this corset in late September, so it’s only 3 months old, and I rotate between this one (245 black) and my other one (426 silver).  I’ve put in an e-mail to Orchard to see if they can repair or replace it, hopefully they do so that I can continue to sing their praises, otherwise I’ll be getting my next corset from another company.

Sleeping laced this week

Planning for this week to sleep in the 426 Short for the rest of the week in place of wearing it throughout the day. I don't feel comfortable driving in a corset yet, and this week I will be doing a lot of that! Plus I work in a specific dress for this weekend so even on my days off school I can't lounge in it, grrrrr.

See this? All this right here? This... Is years of fabric that was hidden in the bottom of various bins, because the employees and interns we've had over the years were too lazy to sort it... There are entire cut corsets, partial pattern pieces from projects that had to be recut, fabrics that aren't even made anymore... This is WEEKS of work, and we aren't even done finding it all. But let's not be bitter. Eventually when we manage the time to sort this, keep an eye out for limited edition "throwback" corsets, and remnant brocade fabrics for sale. :)
