for name and pronoun validation i have two requests if that's okay? we have two new system members that are having some trouble with pronouns! first one is named Vyren, petal/petals and bloom/blooms pronouns are the ones Vyren wants to try, petals a deer hybrid and loves flowers, especially orchids! second is Corvey, caw/caws and (cor/corv/corvs/corvidself) Corvey is a crow/raven hybrid interested in corvidcore/crowcore, night, and vulture culture!

this is vyren! petal has a super cool name! i heard bloom was a deer hybrid which is so snazzy of petal! blooms other interests include flowers, especially orchids, which is awesome! i bet petal is really good at keeping plants alive. bloom might get along with my headmate lacey, she also likes flowers! i hope vyren has a really good day and knows how cool bloom is.

and this over here is corvey!! i also think caw has a really cool name and i'm in love with corvs corvid pronouns. i think cor would get along great with another headmate of mine named crowe! caw is a crow/raven hybrid which is really goddamn cool of corv, and caw likes corvidcore, the night, and vulture culture!! caw seems really cool and i hope corv takes care of cawself.

more wip winter cleaning. short thing i meant to make bigger but never did, about kim dokja and yoo sangah and yoo sangahs rock. around 500wds.

For the first couple of months after becoming friends with Kim Dokja, Yoo Sangah carries a rock with her.

After the apocalypse starts, of course! The most she carried before was pepper spray and the knowledge that if she ever had to use it, there was a chance the consequences would fall on her. Somehow, she only became safer after the world ended, secure in the knowledge that if she was attacked, no one would fault her for fighting back with all her strength.

Still: a rock.

It's not that she's ever felt Dokja is predatory, or anything so unfortunate. Half the reason she enjoyed being around him, both at work and now during the scenarios, is because he didn't seem to care about her like that.

But that's the other thing - his gaze then and now remains the same: disinterested. She can see it slide across his face, how little he actually seems to care about things. Back at Minosoft, it had an exhausted air to it. He didn't care because there was no reason to care, and people hated that about him.

"He acts like everything is beneath him," their co-workers would complain sometimes, expecting commiseration due to how often she and Dokja ended up speaking with one another. "He's just a temporary employee, but he treats everyone, and this job, too, like it's nothing more than an inconvenience."

Sangah would smile with her eyes closed, not responding otherwise. He didn't seem that way to her, but saying that wouldn't do her any good, and as much as she hated to admit that her co-worker was right, her lack of contract at the time left her in a nebulous position, just like Kim Dokja.

Rather, she privately thought his detachment to be a reaction to the way he was treated. Why give anything he wasn't getting? It was refreshing, honestly, to see someone who cared about niceties as little as he did.

Now, though, Yoo Sangah understands exactly what they meant. Dokja these days looks energized, refreshed, nearly frantic. He was smiling and laughing more, chatty and amiable in a way she never could have dreamed him being. Despite that, though, he has not lost his indifference.

He commits violent acts with nonchalance. He takes in the strange circumstances with nothing more than an blank grin. He watches other people with eyes as empty as glass. He's not just disinterested - he's bored, like it's all a movie he's watched one too many times.

Sometimes, she hates him for it. He's nearly unrecognizable from the man she was so intrigued by, and it makes her almost nauseous with loathing.

Therefore, just in case, and even after they've both grown so strong that rocks are nothing more than toys in their fights, she keeps a rock on her. It reminds her of that first time he showed her what he could really do, grasshopper juice sticky on her fingers, heads exploding like party poppers, as he just stood there and watched. A rock - for when Kim Dokja finally gets too bored of her.

Corvey

former benedictine abbey, baroque monastery, princely library, early medieval westwork

Corvey ist eine ehemalige reichsunmittelbare Benediktinerabtei und heutige Schlossanlage im Weserbergland bei Höxter, im äußersten Osten Westfalens. Im Juni 2014 wurde Corvey, im frühen Mittelalter eines der bedeutendsten Klöster in Europa, unter dem Namen Karolingisches Westwerk und Civitas Corvey zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe erklärt.

Bauhistorisch ist das karolingische Westwerk mit seinen Fresken aus dem 9. Jahrhundert von Bedeutung. Die ehemalige Abteikirche ist ein Denkmal barocker Ausstattungskunst. Auf dem Friedhof neben der Kirche liegt das Grab des Dichters der deutschen Nationalhymne, Hoffmann von Fallersleben. Im Innern des Schlosses sind der Kaisersaal, die herzoglichen Salons und die Fürstliche Bibliothek mit zirka 74.000 Bänden zu besichtigen.

Im heutigen Schloss hat der Herzog gemeinsam mit der Stadt und dem Kreis ein Museum eingerichtet.
