What made you ship it?

Well, you see, someone sent me an ask and I went "I hadn't thought about that ship before, but man does it have legs. And they go all the way down to the floor."

I was already considering it because I do have my planned project of "one fic for each Wyll ship," but I hadn't done much rotating beyond "Wyll teaching Lae'zel how to ride a horse would be a fun fic."

What are your favorite things about the ship?

I love how they're both people driven by ideals, even to the point where those ideals aren't actually a good idea. And there's this fun contrast, because "being the Blade of Frontiers" and "trying to be the best githyanki to ever githyanki" look very different, but if you scratch the surface, the motivations are weirdly similar.

(Also, I bet Wyll would give advice and comfort on the Vlaakith situation which is very much advice he needs to take but won't give himself :P)

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I have looked it up, and there is precisely one (1) fic on ao3 written for it, using the otp:true filter. I could, by writing just one fic, do a hostile takeover of this ship. I could get a two third majority by writing two!

I don't think it's possible for me to have an unpopular opinion about it.
