Little update from your neighbourly crow~

Hey, I’m not gone away again! I’m still here, silently watching and judging you.

LOL just kidding!

I’m starting to adjust myself to the new schedule, as I started my month as an intern for the training course I’m following, and I slowly started to research again for my urban fantasy “Beyond the Veil”...so I decided to write this new little update for the ones that are still following me and waiting for some new content.

Returning back to research for the story, I thought that maybe to get the right inspo for the magic system and the witches/kind of witches I have in my story, I could research about the modern-day witches and their practices and spells, paganism and other similar stuff...and I ended up enjoying it?

I’m starting to learn some interesting stuff...and I also tried a couple of spells and looks like they are working? I know that they are more like placebo than actual spells, but feels nice so... I’m also starting to learn to read Oracle cards, even if my oracle deck is a bit different than the others I saw on the net. I’m still searching for a nice Tarot deck to get and start learning how to read tarots (in the past I had something really basic with only the Major Arcana but I can’t find it anymore, maybe it got thrown away or is forgotten in some box).

Sooo... there will be some changes in my witchy characters and some “hotfixes” here and there in my notes about what I’m going to change and how the new stuff will work! If something will change on the character pages I posted on here, I’ll reblog the edited version and maybe add in the reblog what I changed.

I’m not dead (I think)

I-

I’m very ashamed of how long this hiatus is becoming. And it was not even the first hiatus from writing that I took.

This throws me back to the years where I got badly stuck on the sci-fi that made me completely stop writing. And it’s making me sad and angry with myself. I can’t understand why I can’t stick to a thing and complete it. Okay, writer’s block is something possible and normal...but this often? On burnout level? Man, that makes me really angry with myself.

In these months what did I do? Some online classes of my training course, the three months internship and now I’m back doing nothing and not having any idea for what to write and how to complete my darn wips.

I tried getting back into writing in these months, trying out a fanfiction so I wouldn’t have to do worldbuiling and stuff, but in the end I was so tired from work that I abandoned even that.

I have no idea of what to do to get back into writing.

Force myself until I finish something? Hoping to get help from the gods? Looking at whatever I wrote ‘til now until I’ll get a flash of inspiration?

Uuurgh...

I don’t know what to do.

Updates~

I’m trying to update some masterlists&stuff and also I’m making a WiP Page for all the projects that I have going.

On my blog’s menu there will be the link only to the main WiP that still is Beyond the Veil, but in the “Navigation” page/masterlist and in the “WiP masterpost” there will be the links to the other pages.

I only have to set everything up!

And also, in the end I decided to try multitasking and working on every current wip so nothing will be left behind for too long!

Will I be able to keep up with this? I don’t know, but let’s try!

I just rewrote something I jotted years ago.

It still isn’t okay for my perfectionist side, but I like it because at least I got something done today. Even if it’s only something random that I fixed a bit.

Now, let’s get a snack and then I’ll try to translate it in english so I can share it here~
