♕ - ‘A little? Then I’d sure hate to see you up on an angry day!’ Naturally he keeps those thoughts balanced in mind. Seeing that tilt of her head alongside of the aura her voice manages to exude clued him in enough alongside their dance of clashing strikes and divine metal. Sora’s posture was cocked into a curious fashion, doing all he could to discern some sort of read despite that readily clear look of mask that aimed to keep her from truly meeting his eyes. Not that he’d tell her this either-- but it’s truly tuning up to be a grating curiosity to see what’s under it.
But once she speaks of allies that once were? That natural goading nature softened, eyes perking wider, realization dawning as that alone caused the keybearer’s eyes to soften. “Oh.. your friends.” Her important people. That alone was enough to wrench literal mountains of empathic understanding at the drop of a hat. It was one subject that she never outright stated to him.. fluttering hints, faint instances or slips, but to hear this outright with the tone born made him assume the worst.
So he keeps quiet, those irises as acutely listening as his ears as she mulled over those tucked away wishes and glimmering dreams. The care she holds for them didn’t rouse any second guesses, the warmth that tethered itself with the chill of loneliness made it evident in the world of hearts. Once she had finished, that only made him take an abrupt breath of the chilled and mildly magic static air as he steps closer towards her.
“Apologizing is never something I need just because you miss someone. Y’know what? We should try this again.” Sora exclaims in one moment--
Only to take the keyblade--
And proceed to sling the bonded weapon as high off into the air as he can. That is what he had to say to training.
To the feelings presented on the other hand? Her well being? That is what garners this serious look as they were practically face to face, a brown brow raised while those eyes aimed to bore directly into her mask. “Don’t think I haven’t noticed a thing or two. You’re talking to one of the best at that--” Faux reassurances? Hard fought smiles? He was juice drinking buddies with those elements. Whether he should be proud of that fact is another question entirely. It was a fault, a nudging weakness that many could come to exploit, but Sora felt comfortable in letting those blanketed secrets receive a refreshing blast of sunshine now and then.
“I know it’s not any of my business, and maybe I might be being a bit too nosy too. But! If there’s one things I have learned, friends always liked it when they’re talked about now and then. Talking well.. it just feels nice, I wouldn’t mind if you wanted to spend a moment or two if you wanted to talk about the good ol’ days.” He encourages, sadly leaving the ‘professional’ aura to the wayside before his literal toughest teacher yet. (When she felt game for it.)
