the next chapter is up! it is the perspective of the druid dragonborn, Vindigar, who was with Ada when she died but was dying herself and thus was unable to save her. There is also a flashback with some insight to her backstory!

Stanza has just learned about Barovia’s reincarnation problem and she can’t help but empathize with Strahd over the idea of watching the woman you love die then seeing a version of her come back but with no memory of you over and over again. She doesn’t endorse it in any way, but she can absolutely understand how grief and desperation would twist someone to the point that they’d make the decisions he has, especially with access to the power he’s obtained throughout that all this time.

Playing d&d & the party is about to TPK to one of Strahd's Brides & a bunch of druids because we keep failing the dex saves to not be thorned by vines & grappled, no one, not even the swashbuckling rogue has rolled above a 9 on them

Minx is my Curse of Strahd character. She is an artificer (subclassing into cleric after making a deal with Oghma in Death House that if she lived, she'd actually be religious.) I need to do a full body ref of her...

As an Earth Genasi I have flavored to have lots of traits of sedimentary rock, she has marbled coloration to her arms and legs, as well as the red eyes and calico hair you see. She actually lost one hand in Death House, so I plan to have her make a really dope prosthetic with some elements of stained glass.

For a character who shows very little emotion (thank you ptsd aka Haunted One background), Minx has a lot of color to her. I'm really loving playing and sharing this character.

I miss DMing Ravenloft but I don't know if I could do a season 2 when I put so much into making the first campaign a work of physical, mental, homebrewed and lore-infused love
