Classe Sara is one of my favorite fibers, but it’s a bit difficult to figure out the colors without a swatch book and since you need a shopping service, it can be inconvenient to order the swatches first. I decided to compare my Coscraft ring to my Classe Sara book to find the closest colors. Spoiler: while they overlap a lot in the natural tone range, the fun color range is really different!
Why would you want this btw? Because Sara has the least tangly fiber on the cosplay wig market. Period. You cannot get wigs that tangle less than Sara and believe me I have tried.
This chart shows when a Coscraft color has a close match for Classe Sara. When the match is near exact (like I could probably get away with using wefts of one in a wig of the other), I’ve marked this. When there’s a color that’s halfway between two very similar colors, I’ve also marked this. For things where there’s no close match but there’s vaguely similar colors, I’ve listed the closest options after saying no match. When there’s nothing remotely close, I marked it as “absolutely no match”.
Incredibly long list under the cut!

Overall, Classe Sara tends to be warmer than Coscraft, and Coscraft tends to be more saturated. Sara in particular and Classe as a whole is a good bet for you in general if you find most wigs to be overly saturated for your skin tone!
Your Gladstone Gander cosplay honestly makes me really happy each time I see it! It's so well done and beautiful. I want to get into cosplay sometime and you're one of my biggest inspirations for that, hehe. Ack, anyways, I just wanted to say how much I love all of your cosplays, each one looks amazing and looks so much like the characters! <3
Gosh I've spent so long trying to think of a relpy to this--- I'm just going to ramble
I've been cosplaying for about 8 years now and I'm afraid to say I find the community can be quite toxic at times, so it's nice hearing comments like this? Gosh It really is unexpected especially since I've been cosplayong Ducks...
I'm flattered I'm someone you're 'inspired' by, and if you ever do decide to take up the hobby I'll happily share all my tips and tricks with you- I do this hobby as a none profit thing and I would have loved having someone helo me when I first started out! I will however say my personal aim is to always do things as easily and cheaply as possible and I personally know so many people who are better craftsmen than me ahaha
I can't take credit for Gladstones design I think its purley because of @modmad crative work and great understanding of the character that the outfit I wear works so well, and they helped me a lot when it came to crafting him! I used to mainly Cosplay Anime character but the last two years I've been focusing on Human Versions of other creatures- because there's a certain amount of creative freedom that I just enjoy and not feeling that I have to strictly look a certain way it quite freeing (in my opinion)
SO SERIOUSLY- THANK YOU
----------
Working on a Cosplay can be quite hard, and each outfit I have always comes with it's own challenges- but Gladstone was ironically riddled with badluck- I've wanted to talk about it for a while so If you wanna keep reading I'm going to use this ask as an outlet of that information-! You might find it useful or entertaining! Who knows~
So the first was thw wig, I ordered a stright short wig and some extra wefts to sew into it to make his fringe. The wefts where tangled when they arrived- that's the image! So I spent two hours fixing that before I could sew them in place and cut the length!
It took 3 attempts and Two Weeķs to curl his wig! I really want to make a Blond one but.. I can't do that to myself
The coat took me months to sort and luckily my Twin sister helped me in the end because I'd given up!
Yellow dress pants are a Nightmare to find
I ordered the perfect yellow shoes online and after 4 months of the company constantly 're-sending' my parcel I cancelled the order. These shoes where perfect and in the 18 months since, I still havent found a pair even remotley similar to them! The replacemenr shoes arrived and my dog ate them- The Spats hide a HUGE bitemark on the side
I really can't make spats ahahaha
The fringe takes me close to an hour to style everytime I wear him
You can NOT sit down in a duckbutt lmao
But he's honestly one of my favourite characters to be and I love having the oportunity to be such an aweful goose!
Thank you so so much for the compliment! What a great start to my Dayyyyy~°♡

Lady Five wig progress! I started with a Charlie in Gold and a weft in Gold from Coscraft. I cut around 40% of the weft off, then handsewed the wefting fabric double, to halve the length of the weft. After that, I plaited it and sewed it in, leaving the free end longer so it would blend with the wig itself, and sewed in both ends. Lastly, I pinned in the remaining weft and sewed it in to add volume to the wig. The whole thing needs curling to make it flow better, but progress, at last!

Full Review Below the Cut (●♡∀♡))ヾ☆*。
I’m so excited to finally review this product and company! I had been browsing the Coscraft website for so long, and I’m stoked to give it a little more recognition and attention!! (´∀`)♡
Coscraft is a store that sells a variety of items that contribute to an amazing cosplay: patterns, wigs, worbla, and more – all the way down to books, thermoplastics, and even heat transfer vinyl! However, there weren’t many in-depth reviews of Coscraft wigs or products. Other than having heard that the wigs were thick and silky, I had very little other information about the product’s shipment-to-door process. And because Coscraft ships from the UK, very few American cosplayers may know of the store; this, in turn, gave American cosplayer who were interested in the product very little answers to questions like: How long does shipping take? How much does it cost? How do I pay?
So for anyone wondering, shipping was 6.50 Euros, which translates to $7.27 USD!
The order was placed June 15th and arrived on the 21st of June, so it was really fast shipping! The store accepts credit card or Paypal.
The wig was very neatly packed, coming with a newspaper wad to help the netting keep its shape. Its long hair was folded inside of the netting, along with the newspaper, in a way that stopped the wig from getting knotted or tangled during its shipment. ∩(︶▽︶)∩ The wig’s bangs were slightly crimped and wavy, but these waves could easily be combed out of the hair. The package also came with a printed receipt of the order.
When unpacking the wig, the first thing I noticed was how silky and thick it was. Due to the package’s weight alone, I could gauge that the wig was incredibly thick, but the weave had a surprising amount of hair! So much so that when shining the flashlight of my iPhone through its wall of hair, I couldn’t see much light on the other side! Σ(・口・)
This, by far, is one of the softest wigs I’ve ever owned, and I absolutely love the slightly shiny look it has! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖° The wig was basically entirely detangled when it came in, but after brushing through it a couple times, the wig felt amazingly soft and akin to real hair. On top of this, the hair on the wig seemed to taper like real hair as well; towards the ends, the weave thinned and fluffed out a little, mimicking the flow of real hair. It’s also exactly like photographed on the CosCraft website, especially in color.
Although I love the thickness and texture of the wig, the color is by far my favorite feature. Like mentioned before, the wig was accurate in color to the website. However, getting a wig in yellow or blonde is extremely tricky – if you choose to save some pocket by purchasing a blonde wig on eBay for your cosplay, chances are you’re going to get an extremely bright or obnoxious yellow. (❁°͈▵°͈) And unless your character has highlighter yellow hair, it’s oftentimes difficult to find a blonde wig that does your character justice! Coscraft, to me, is a more affordable website with the color grid and thickness of Arda wigs – they come in all different colors, but aren’t blatantly or boldly an unnatural color unless you choose this selection. I needed a blonde wig for my Zelda cosplay, and I couldn’t have found a more accurate color! o(*^▽^*)o
As a quick side note, I noticed that the netting of the wig is in a light flesh color – so cosplayers with different skin pigmentation may want to consider that their ‘scalp’ from the netting may be a different shade of skin! However, the netting may simply be colored to blend in with the wig color. The netting itself is incredibly soft, and stretches very well; this may be a deal breaker for cosplayers with very long or thick hair to pack into a wig cap!
I also wanted to test how the wig parts; when working under a budget, buying a lacefront wig for a character with a middle parting is often out of the question. For Zelda from Breath of the Wild, I wanted a wig that could part in the middle more naturally, as I’m pulling apart long bangs and braiding them along with hairline. For this wig, I tested it by putting the wig on a wig head and pinning the bangs apart. The bangs part very naturally, for all different types of parts – sides, middles, etc. ೭੧(❛▿❛✿)੭೨ One can see smaller baby hairs popping out from the part, but other than that, there are no complaints!
! Rating Time !
Color/Appearance: (5/5)
Texture: (5/5)
Comfort: (5/5)
Overall: (10/10) ೭੧(❛▿❛✿)੭೨
Overall, my experience ordering, receiving, styling and wearing this wig has been fantastic! From the very beginning, payment was simple and smooth, and Coscraft’s customer service was fantastic and responded to me as soon as possible. Shipping was timely, the wig came and stayed in beautiful condition, and the wig’s color and texture matched perfectly with Zelda from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! (☆▽☆)
