Today's siren is the Cosgrave Code Siren by Austin B. Cosgrave (The Cosgrave Co.) and Gamewell Corporation!
Sometimes you remember that sirens can be so rare that they no longer are active or sound off at all. So rare that only people can imagine what this siren sounded like! The Cosgrave Code Siren was firstly built in the 1920s as the siren market began to boom with the rise in demand of fire sirens. This one was special, it had campers and brakes to produce codes which were known amongst the fire stations, like the location of a fire. However despite its cool history.. Only three are still existing as the rest have been destroyed or removed. An unfortunate end for the siren. However..funny enough. Someone has a cosgrave right on their apartment. Lucky person!
