My funniest con experience at ICT Comic Con... when I was doing a shoot backstage and then waited for my friends to come out from behind the curtain by standing on stage right straddling the curtain line ...it was not super long but apparently I was holding still for quite a bit, because suddenly as I moved and walked on to the stage the attendees there jumped startled and freaked out! “Oh my!” I was worried why they looked at me scared. Their response, “We thought you were another of the Wonder Woman statues like the one posted at the booth in the front!” Haha! That sounds funny they though I was a statue lol, i have to see this thing. Yesterday was an emotion filled day. I was late and even had to run down Hollywood Blvd dressed in my new costume that I built in tribute of Lynda’s bushwhacker/Roy Rogers épisode (I laughed in my head thinking how funny would it be if someone had video footage as I raced the streets of Hollywood running! 🤣). I arrived in time to hear her speech and see her get her star. - It’s a really surreal and humbling feeling to be quite honest to be seen as her doppelgänger, even at an event where you know her die hard fans will be there -it was so cool how pretty much all of the crowd were able to name my costume better than me—I had a few fans of mine educate me on its existence a couple of years ago! Walking around Hollywood like this with @sylviaslays (thanks bestie for coming with me dressed up as Hippolyta) was in all honestly overwhelming. People kept thinking I was her 😔 (I even hid in my car for a little bit. I don’t know if I could do it again)...but overall I am thankful that I could show my support of a star I believe that she deserved a long time ago. - Not to make this about me at all, because I feel this was a chance to honor HER for her life work, but I am triple honored and wanted to personally and publicly post my thanks to @thevalleystar news out of Los Angeles for using me on their article about the event, and for even mentioning what I do. Another day I look forward to the future. To the changes that I and we all must strive for.... I cannot give up just because it gets hard. Even in the face of difficulty and darkness around us, we cannot give up on free tomorrow. A day when boundaries and governments no longer dictate our voices, our lifestyles, and our health choices. We cannot give up because it will take all of us to realize a revolution. When agencies and departments violate the very laws that created them at the cost of a tomorrow even arriving for some or all of us...we cannot give up. For if we do then who will be left to fight. .
