ok, i honestly don't mean any offense by this, so apologies if I say something wrong; To me, it makes a certain amount of sense to have it somewhere on someone's wikipedia page, for the sake of everyone who's terribly out of the loop, or doing research from the future, or something. is there an acceptable way to do this? Again, sorry if I'm not phrasing this well, it's an honest question

you phrased it alright and i understand where you’re coming from. im not great at explaining things but im gonna try: when someone is out and openly sharing the name and pronouns they want to use, it is incredibly offensive and discriminatory to be using their old pronouns or deadname.

here’s another way of putting it: if you refer to someone as their deadname, it stings. it’s a name you don’t want to hear anymore. hell, you want to forget that you were even called that. so, if you were to have that name on a wikipedia article, it defeats the purpose of it being a deadname in addition to being rude and disrespectful to them.
