Do you think that Siffrin and Loop have an inside joke about "not seeing eye to eye" since when they're face to face they're looking a the other's blind spot
THEY ABSOLUTELY WOULD I HATE THEM
after all the post-canon angst runs its course, they're going to be insufferable together. those two would know each other's thought processes perhaps too well
just from the Eye repertoire, loop jokingly sneering that siffrin is "really the apple of my eye, aren't you, stardust?" whenever he does something mildly irritating, or siffrin calling loop's light "an eyesore" when they're being a bitch. "someone has to keep an eye on you" is used frequently, so is "turning a blind eye". the fight, once they're ready to joke about it too, being called "a vague attempt at an eye for an eye"
it would probably permeate into their regular, non-ironic conversations too, purely out of sheer habit, goddammit. one trying to pry a conversation without deflections out of the other and demanding they "look them in the eye", or them getting separated and one exhaling the other is "a sight for sore eyes" when they meet up again. eye. close enough
please may we know some more about the understudy recalled au................. the patients need toxic sifloop yuri to live
the patients are going to get so much toxic sifloop yuri they're going to ascend all the way to the firmament, let me tell you
in big summary, understudy recalled au is what happens when you get my thought process going because of this sifloop self-love/self-hatred analysis i did a while back and crank up those two's worst mutual destruction tendencies to the point where it all ends with siffrin disappearing from existence and loop reprising their role
[details under the cut for the sake of not creating a long post]
what you get in this au is a loop whose propensity to project their own self-hatred onto siffrin because they're still getting used to the idea that siffrin is his own person and not just a reflection you can jeer at with no consequence is dialed up to 11. a loop who doesn't know when to stop with all that envy, bitterness, unresolved anguish and self-destructive tendencies within them, and who starts to realize that they messed up too late to fix anything.
what you get in this au is a siffrin who kept getting constant feedback fueling his own spiraling thoughts about just how bad he is at everything, who kept being told by the only person he could really actually talk to within the loops how he's constantly stumbling helplessly. a siffrin who really starts to believe they're the worst possible person to deal with all this, actually. just useless, useless, useless. no good at all. someone whose party must be tired of him, grossed out by him. wholly inadequate to solve the issue of the time loop, and maybe not even deserving of the resolution.
one night, far into the loops, loop having caught sight of siffrin's lifeless face, usually hidden by their hanging head and big hat, earlier this loop, puts their own fragmented psyche together. there's a pit of guilt actively opening in their stomach because they very suddenly realized that stardust is not and has never been them - but they treated him like he was, like their words would have no effect because they both would think the same about each other. but even if siffrin thinks the same things about himself as loop, that's not the same as hearing it from someone else. someone who you don't even know is the same person.
loop decides, in a panic, that they need to try and fix it, if they even can, starting the moment they see siffrin next loop. beg for forgiveness, or maybe just for an opportunity to redeem themselves, maybe even come clean about who they are, be helpful to the best of their ability, be a point of support from now on, try to fix it, fix it, fix it—
just then, siffrin, having snuck out from the clocktower in the dead of night, approaches the favor free to make a wish. a wish for someone else to figure a way out, someone who isn't as useless, as aimless as him. someone like loop, who always seems to know what's going on and has to explain reality to him like he's a little kid. for someone else to take over and for himself to just disappear. loop sees him pick a leaf from the ground and start mumbling into it.
despite loop's efforts to get down the tree in time to stop siffrin, tear the leaf out of their hand, stifle their words of self-renouncement, they don't make it in time. it is done, the universe realigning to push this new reality into existence. siffrin just smiles sadly at them from the ground they're kneeling on, face wet with tears, and asks loop to make sure the others make it out of the loops they have no idea they're even trapped in.
and then he disappears, as if consumed by a black hole or swallowed up by the shifting shadows, just stardust left behind on top of his hat, resting on the grass. loop is left alone right there, under the tree; looking painfully human again. back to the stage, loop.
loop ends up playing the role of siffrin once more and, knowing how much the party cares about them just from observing them, finally gets out of the loops; but it feels like the biggest loss they've ever gone through because they didn't want this, they didn't realize how far they took it, they want him back, give him back, this wasn't theirs, it was his—
but he's gone, not even a whisper or a ghost left behind. and no one remembers. after all, a siffrin is still there. just not stardust.
Hands you a mic. Talk about the religions in ISAT please.
fumbles with the mic as the suddenly spotlight floods from above with a click
ohhh there's so much to talk about with this!!
as i said here, there's actually a bit of an overlap of between the change belief and the universe belief. it can only be expected, of course; the two countries are extremely close in proximity and beliefs of different cultures that have some trace similarities, often even started off from the same base source, a bit like languages!
to sum up the similarities from that post, both the change god and the universe have to do with fate and your place in the world. they're about leading you through life, offering protection and support during your journey through life and its avenues.
that's not to say these religions don't clash; first off all, the change god clearly has some divine beef with the universe and we'll get to it, but besides that there are certainly some foundational differences that you can see really well when the party examines the first key we can find - the circle key, the symbol of the change belief, portraying how everyone and everything belongs to this world.
siffrin can, after some time, question that even if the smaller circles are within bigger ones, the biggest one is not inside of anything. in their first reaction, and thus most honest one, they're quite indignant and ruffled about it, and even later throughout act 2 they seem wholly unconvinced.
this is of course because siffrin's faith has an explanation for it that the change belief lacks, although we don't learn about it until act 4, when they seem to not be able to hold it in anymore.
that's the first crucial discrepancy - the thing inset into the belief in the universe is the sense of belonging to something bigger than you can imagine, bigger than your mind can envelop. the change belief seems, in contrast to that, more cozy, approachable. this fits well with the concept of the houses of change that serve kind of as community centers for help and self-betterment, and with the housemaidens that serve as examples, help others fulfill their goals or help them get better, be it skill- or health-wise.
(the rest of this long ask response is under the cut for care of mobile users that can't use the J hotkey)
the change belief is about providing you with safety during your inner journey so that you can become your better self. it doesn't need anything bigger than the world because the world is where all the people are. the universe belief needs the world where everything and everyone is to be within something else because it's about trusting something bigger than you is in charge of your fate and keeping you on track.
i said this already in the other post, but the change belief largely focuses on your end goal. you can take any road you want, in any length of time you require, and take any measures you want in order to achieve change. in the end, what matters is that you've achieved it. the universe is completely the opposite here - it values your journey and your experiences during it, it leads you so you can safely follow it, and you'll end up where you're supposed to be because of that.
the universe, unlike the change god, in not an advisor; it requires your blind trust and perhaps baseless faith, and honestly this might be why the change god mocks the universe as a god that doesn't even talk to you.
they explain pretty well why the time loop goes against their nature; after all, the end goal slips from the story's grasp every time. they don't care for all the fluff between the points on the map, they want the result most of all. this ceaseless wandering is not their domain; it's the universe's. the change belief needs the possibility of change and evolution and the universe requires you to follow and journey both inward yourself and outward to the world to know and understand both—
HA! I HAVE TRICKED YOU AND LULLED YOU INTO A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY!!! THIS POST IS ACTUALLY A HIT PIECE ON THE KING
if you really think about it, the king goes against the principles of both the religion of the country he grew to call his new home, and the country he hails from. him freezing vaugarde stops everyone from changing, making them stay exactly the same forever, but that part is clear from the text and rebuked by the party, especially by mirabelle. however, his wish also stops everyone and himself from advancing forward, from continuing the journey. he clings onto the scraps of the past with fear and desperation and is too scared to just trust the universe to lead him into a life that's different but no less good. he'd doubly a hypocrite.
if you can't take my word for it, siffrin's might do. after the event of the king trying to coax them into saying the name of the northern island with him, regardless of what you pick, this is how siffrin, who seems to be a pretty devout believer in the universe, seems to sum it up.
siffrin in general seems to have accepted that his home is gone - not in that he doesn't care or that he made peace with it but in that he is fully aware nothing can bring back what's been lost. it's gone forever and that's that.
(honestly that sense of finality seeps into even things that are far from being concluded often and siffrin overdoes it by accepting his conjectures as final truths that can't be changed. but that's neither here nor there)
the king twists the fact his wish got granted into approval rather than a tool for his journey, a goal that the universe sets you out in. because that's what wishes are - the universe sets and reroutes a path towards them for you, braids your fate in such a way that it's bound to come true. no wish in isat, when granted, gives you something material; you can't just ask for a new bike and have it materialize in front of you. the granted wishes, siffrin's and the king's, most prominently, aren't granted for their own sake. instead, they assist them in leading them to the fate that was preordained for them; the king, at the cost of being frozen himself, gets to remember all he lost and keep it with him forever in that form, and siffrin's wish, as broken as it is, makes him realize him and his family can and will stay together. you get exactly what you need to self-actualize as best as possible while enroute to the resolution of your wish. but the journey is the resolution, the process is the reward itself. that's what the universe's deal is.
(as for the expressions, we get very little on them but they seem the most typical to the pantheon of gods we're familiar with. they remind me a lot of the muses; an essence you seek guidance in that you hope will imbue you with its domain.)
thank you sooo much for giving me space to ramble about this ake you're the best ╰(*°▽°*)╯
oo what were those thoughts on isabeau's change? sounds spicy
ahhh thank you so much for asking!! i'm excited to talk about this :D (hopefully in A Few Hundred Less Words than the siffrin/loop self-love and self-hatred dichotomy ask hjdsjh)
i feel like i need to preface this by saying i mean more the Change in personality isabeau went through here rather than any physical changes that would amount to transition in our terms! so any changes that were more physical will be discussed as something that was meant to drive home the change in his personality more than anything. okay? okay!
we get a lot of details about how some part of Change is destruction - in the kitchen on the first floor when getting the egg key and both during isa's regular friendquest and its mangled version from act 5.
this is what we learn when we ask about the egg key in the kitchen. while some of mirabelle's seeming uncertainty here might be stemming from her own hang-ups about changing (since she likes who she is and doesn't want to change anything about herself), she acknowledges that an important part of the Change belief is leaving things behind and breaking something to create something new. as fitting of a housemaiden! she explains thought and caution is needed, that you have to consider all the consequences of such an act first.
however, isa seems even more enthusiastic about the idea of leaving things behind and destroying what's left, no matter the cost. there's some pride in his own Change, yes, but it almost veers into the area of overcompensation.
later on, during his friendquest, he talks about his Change, and how he did an almost complete 180 in personality because he was tired of being shy and afraid.
which, on one hand, seems to be something he sorely needed! a boost of confidence, becoming someone he thought would help his younger self come out of their shell. he put a lot of effort into becoming someone else. and he was ready to commit to that capital-C Change. he trained a lot to play the part (put a pin in that turn of phrase) of a strong, buff guy that he wanted to be and everything! but the way he talked about it... seemed a bit disquieting to me from the very beginning.
isa seems to talk about his old self that way not because he wants to cement he's a new person but to seemingly almost express some contempt to them with it. he never truly learned how to appreciate that version of himself and just discarded it whole cloth, to the point of pretending he's not smart at all and way stupider than he actually is, because it's easier to distance yourself from everything that used to make you you. at multiple points of the story, we see the party being taken back by the fact that isa is knowledgeable on something. siffrin only notices after being told this and then looking out for it.
(cut here because, despite my best efforts, this got long)
there's something siffrin thinks in act 4 during isa's quest when isa talks about changing again because who he is now also doesn't seem quite right that's pretty poignant to this whole thing.
despite the drastic Change isabeau went through, he still thinks of himself as someone you'd be ashamed of knowing. he still doesn't like himself! he still feels unhappy with who he is! and that's sad!
the issue here is that isa's Change was motivated externally; he seems to have focused on how people would react to him rather than how he himself would feel in his own skin. him and siffrin aren't dissimilar - both of them pretend to act in ways that keep others content because that specific behavior is expected from them and the persona they take up. there's a heartbreaking fragment of the quest in act 4 that i myself missed in my playthrough because the bad touch event overrides it that tells us how siffrin took up most of his personality as a "funnyjokespun person" only after meeting the party and couldn't really describe it beforehand.
war and hatred on planet earth! this is very much a takes one to know one situation which is why when siffrin attacks isa in act 5, it cuts so deep.
okay. the worst part of that exchange in act 5 is,,, that siffrin hits where it hurts because they don't make anything up. they aim to be hurtful and insulting, yes, and they project the hell onto isa but only with the aspects that have some overlay between them. they're both scared of being rejected if they're not acting a certain way, being a certain type of person, embodying an archetype.
isabeau, instead of doing the honestly genuinely hard and heavy work of learning to appreciate yourself and all your parts, goes all in on a new persona, even if it means suppressing parts of yourself and going against what you might want. he's unable, or just simply afraid, of not thinking in a binary when it comes to changing and growing as a person. he thinks it's much more comfortable staying in your lane as a strong buff guy that reassures people and not have to deal with the fact that being smart would Obviously Clash With That. well, it wouldn't, but he's scared! and doesn't even want to risk it!
this fear of upsetting the status quo can also be a p big motivator in Not Confessing Ever At All. this guy is so scared of being ever so slightly different than expected that he's immediately hit with the flight response the moment he tries.
tl;dr isabeau used Changing his personality as an escapism mechanism and discarding the entirety of who he used to be instead of dealing with the mortifying ordeal of learning to love yourself, and is too afraid of upsetting the status quo to mix and match personality traits, only operating in strict archetypes when shaping his character. boy why are you so identity crisis. i love you
hi can you talk more about your reading of siffrin and loop's relationship please. I'm so curious 👀
(omg hii i love your analyses)
well i guess now i gotta huh!! the demons (the people on my computer) are telling me to do it, do it, do it, so here it is!! most of it below a cut! because this ended up being really really long!
so! self-love and self-hatred play a big role in isat in general. the whole story is kind of about accepting that you are capable of being loved, and not, in fact, inherently repulsive so maybe you should open up, siffrin. imagine that. and i'd argue these themes crystallize into their final form with sif and loop and how they interact :) my ants. my mentally ill ants
(this sidesteps the curious meta element of how both the narration of siffrin to himself and loop addressing siffrin as they talk uses second person. it's very interesting but this is already gonna be long enough)
looking at all their interactions, especially through the lens of knowing who loop actually is, gives a pretty good idea of loop's attitude towards another version of themselves, and, by extension, their own self (this is a bit confusing because there are Too Many Siffrins Here)
the long and short is the resentment they feel towards themselves - because loop never went through the realization they're not unlovable - is externalized and often taken out on siffrin.
they are very condescending with how they interact with him. he's just a silly little stardust! so stupid, so naive! knows so little about literally everything. awww, let me help you out, stardust, before you hurt yourself.
on my first playthrough i actually initially distrusted loop a lot because of this. i saw it as the last thing siffrin would need when they already put themselves down so heavily; how they call themselves "stupid" multiple times for any and all mistakes they make and how unforgiving they are to themselves (especially the key hidden in the classroom exemplifies this). but with the knowledge of siffrin and loop starting out as the same person, it makes a stark amount of sense. when you have a mindset similar to siffrin's and loop's, no one will ever be more critical of you than you yourself.
it sometimes feels like loop's forgetting they're not talking to themselves internally and that this is a whole separate being they're talking to that they can't just externalize their own self-hatred onto, enough that they have to backtrack and apologize because hurting yourself in a way that resembles hurting someone else makes you think twice about what you're doing to yourself. there's a healthy dose of regret there, and guilt that they said something you can't easily erase from the mind of the person you said it to.
there is still care in loop's behavior. conversely to the previous statement, nothing will make you more sympathetic to your own plight than literally seeing it from an outsider's perspective and being able to acknowledge that you need help (sidenote, but kinda twisted of the universe to grant loop's wish in the most roundabout way possible. you want someone to help you? okay! help yourself! your other self, but hey, it counts, right?)
(cut here because this is getting out of control and i can't let it appear in unabridged form on anyone's dash, especially on mobile)
as acts go on and quests progress, loop gets these moments of honesty and empathy for siffrin more often. they obviously have been helping before but you know what i mean, don't you. those moments where loop's facade drops and we get a feeling that this isn't them acting, this is their true... shades, lol. examples!!
aftermath of touch therapy! of course they'd know what the root problem here is and how to best help. this is something acutely familiar to them and they're able to tell what siffrin needs to stop spiraling. and!! siffrin reciprocates this! haven't talked ab him and his attitude towards loop specifically a lot but this too is important. i'm rapidly becoming ill btw
forgetting the party's names upon waking up on the meadow and calling loop! it happened to loop before so seeing it happen to another version of you must make one feel... complicated. they patiently remind siffrin each name and make sure they're fine.
honestly, throughout the entirety of the story, but especially by the end of act 4, they find it very crucial to make sure they reassure siffrin they're there for him, that he's not alone in this. they know where feeling completely alone leads.
okay i can't take it anymore i gotta talk about this.
loop so doesn't want siffrin to use the dagger on themselves. it's genuinely heartbreaking to see their distress about the idea
they even try to dissuade siffrin from it later on, when you first attempt to use it, and are very very upset still afterwards
they care about siffrin!! they don't want to see him hurt! they don't want siffrin to befall the same awful fate they met where self-destruction melts into the natural state of being and you just spiral spiral spiral! they don't hate him, and seeing them fall so far from okay that they're fine with stabbing themselves to save time in a time loop where literally no time is wasted because it loops back anyway is awful for them.
this is where loop transforms from the voice in your head pointing out your deepest flaws to one that can tell what you're doing is self-destructive and bad for you and you really, really should stop. the, pardon my wording, tug on your stomach, like the one you get when you're standing over the ledge and looking down. and when you get the stupid thought how easy it would be to fall, your brain reacts by jolting you away. loop is the jolt.
loop is the inner instincts of siffrin personified at many points of the story. sometimes they're hurtful towards him as instincts of a self-destructive person are wont to do, which is justified with them just wanting that other version of themselves to Be Better, Get Better. and sometimes, it's self-preservation they depict; feeling at home with your self and expressing empathy towards yourself and your own awful situation.
when act 5 comes, loop is clearly crushed about not being able to help siffrin out, about not being able to get them out of their despair.
then, just like he's done with everyone else, siffrin rejects loop too. when siffrin shuns loop here, it's out of anger for being kept in the dark, yes, but it's also a rejection of any positive thoughts they might have about themselves.
siffrin's rejection of loop isn't only rejecting one last person they're close to like they did with their family members. it's a rejection of any and all instincts to care for himself and his well-being. it's the same thing that allows him to use crafts with no cooldowns. it's the same thing as memory of emptiness that lets him loop to the point where he died and just keep going. it's what lets mal du pays take form.
this refusal of loop's help is, in my opinion, the ultimate act of self-hatred in isat.
okay depression time over act6 twohats happy times yayy!!!
after a little bit because loop is - kinda justifiably - upset at how their suffering amounted to nothing and now this siffrin gets their happy ending. and they don't!! how is that fair? we have to keep in mind a lot of what we've learned was news to loop too. they spent so long in the loops, not knowing why, to the point where they begged the universe to get them out and help them.
their roles from act 5 essentially swap here. here loop is the one self-destructing and rejecting any help at all, and projecting the hell out of themselves onto siffrin, just like siffrin did in the "friendquests" in act 5.
so i haven't talked a lot about siffrin's outlook on loop before now (when his psyche is not literally split into tiny pieces, that is) but my little pet theory is that, just like they really hate repeating their lines, being all fake, and only do so because they feel they have to, they're often annoyed by loop because they can kind of sense the front they put out. if you hate the way you pretend, these feelings are most likely gonna transpose to another version of you doing the same thing.
but in this fight, the siffrin in it is not the one still trapped in the time loops. this is a siffrin tentatively learning that maybe it's okay to not hate yourself. so, just like act 5 is the greatest act of self-hatred, the ending of this fight is the ultimate act of self-love and self-acceptance, regardless of how it ends but with some caveats to both outcomes.
if siffrin wins, he refuses to hurt loop, stating outright that they don't hate themselves enough to do so. he won't do it even if loop is literally begging for it.
if loop wins, they cannot bring themselves to hurt siffrin. they feel too much empathy towards them. it's impossible to hate him - and themselves - the same after seeing the struggle from outwards.
regardless, they both exhibit the kind of care only you yourself can give yourself after fighting tooth and nail to prove to your own self-esteem that you're worth it. siffrin wouldn't be satisfied with killing loop because it would mean a rejection of some fragment of themselves.
siffrin went through a capital-C Change due to the loops (the theme of change in isat is another thing i could write on and on about), and part of that Change was having a version of you, your past self, still stuck in how they used to be and the situation that made them so. a healthy type of growth means changing for the better, yes, but also learning to love and respect who you used to be. if you met your younger self, would you resent them? or would you want them to know that all their struggles weren't for nothing? Change means leaving something behind but not forsaking it, letting it rot and fester unacknowledged
(insert rant about how isa's Change was actually kind of partial because he decided to completely sever ties with who he used to be instead of being appreciative of the aspects of himself he seems to still like, like being smart, and him resorting to hiding it instead WE DON'T HAVE THE TIME RIGHT NOW ASK ME LATER IF U WANNA but tl;dr actshually isa Change doesn't need to be full-on destruction because the eggshell is still there the Change God told me okay enough of this)
this. this is love. self-love given form. to me.
"you matter. your suffering mattered. it helped me become who i am right now. nothing was in vain. it hurt, and might still hurt for a long time - but it was never for nothing." that's what i got from this scene.
anywayyyyy i warned you!!! that this would be long!! if you let me yap! it's yap central over here. if you got all the way down here, thank you for enduring. have a cupcake :)🧁
Ironrose player... I've got a lot of questions about them, so sorry if this is a lot.
1. Did they intend for kris to do that? Like, the player in canon snowgrave seems to have knowledge of "how to snowgrave" that goes beyond what we're told (so far) about the prophecy. Was this like, an intentional attempt to manipulate kris into A. Bringing the thornring into the lightworld and B. Getting kris to stab themselves with it?
I imagine they're rather pleased with this course of events. It's like an even more forbidden path.
2. Does the thornring being on kris let them use things like X-slash without Kris's... well, we don't know why exactly X-slash is only possible during the spamton neo fight, but I imagine it's because Kris is allowing their body to go all out.
3. Is the player going to use this improved control over the prophecy to rematch the knight without kris's interference this time around? Rematching the knight in chapter 4 might not be possible even with improved control, but there's no one to stop them from trying to get into the shelter, or, possibly, faking being kris when they get a call and tracking them down that way.
Assuming they have the shadow mantle and the black shard, they might be confident enough to do it.
4. Have all the shadowcrystals/ the shadow mantle been collected in this route?
5. How does the player feel about Kris/Susie/Noelle?
6. In chapter 4, when Kris "sends" the soul to guide susie during the not!gerson fight, how does that go in Ironrose? Does that just not happen, or does the soul like, puppet both at once?
i am rubbing my hands together, evilly. hohohoho. iron rose connoisseurs i'm done with my irl entanglement and ready to rumble, you're about to be fed
nope, not at all! this was something kris did on their own in a desperate attempt to save noelle. the player was not planning on this course of events but they're not about to complain. you're very right in assuming this kind of forbidden path is very alluring to them. finally! something new!
thornring's effect on kris... it's one of the more difficult things to figure out, since they can't use magic. but it's not great for them. i think that, with the ring's connection to ice magic, they're constantly cold. and the downside of the hp dropping to a set level is still in place; obviously, what with them wrapped in thorns underneath their armor. i did think about the constant magic potential not being able to be used in any way causing them issues, but this avenue is honestly one i spent the least time thinking about. feel free to share your thoughts if you have any!! ^^
so yeah, with all these downsides, it'd only be fair if there was something to be gained! so kris hits significantly harder here. but you gotta be careful - ralsei obviously knows something and susie is unpredictable and uncontrollable. therefore, you have some options to play around with when you're alone. obviously X-Slash could make a comeback, though i think it'd be proportional to the opponents health, not a set amount of damage. maybe just for minibosses and bosses. additionally, you can ACT for 100% TP to pin the opponents in place and stop them from escaping an encounter (name pending; between Pierce and Burgeon). Funnnn
ohhh interesting idea!! but i think the knight is in a bit of a different league. obviously in cahoots with kris, most likely knows what's up with the soul. the knight would most likely do the same thing it does in canon and just attack kris at that one point of chapter 4 if it seemed they didn't have any control. cutscene no jutsu might be hard to counter in any circumstance
as for the shelter, yes, kris can't physically stop the player from approaching but it's not like they could've at any point earlier on before. and the player still doesn't know the codes. and as for the phone, they'd similarly have to know the number. kris's phonebook and call history is wiped anyhow
the player is way stronger here, yes, but they are not all-powerful. they still need to operate within the constraints of canon events
interesting question! (hasn't thought about it because she sucks at bullet hell and hasn't gotten a single one of those thangs). probably! snowgrave players in general strike me as likely to be completionists. just look at how many hoops you gotta go through to get onto the route
loaded question because i'm a krusielle shipper so i'm obviously biased for it sdghk but i think! that if it seems like there's at least a shred of possibility for it to be possible, the player would try, if only because they want to see it. they obviously looove noelle, she's a big favorite. but oh gosh, it'd be fun to finally get susie under any kind of control, huh? it'd be way easier with susie than noelle now, actually, with noelle all paranoid. and susie is so desperate for closeness and doesn't really know any other kris than the one that's under control. ...oh, come on, kris, don't shiver like that. don't you like them both? we'll have so much fun, you'll see!
oh, i actually thought about this before!! ^^ strap in.
thank you so much for the ask!!! it's a joy talking about this au. i'm so glad people seem to be enjoying it (≧∀≦)ゞ
