What a transformation! 💞 Our Cosmic Cliffs colorway, shown here on Polwarth, spun up to a moody & dazzling yarn even when I let the colors mix randomly in the singles and the plying. Grab your own braid on our website today 🌌

Continuing our examples of how fiber colorways can be spun up into different styles of yarn, here's three finished Cosmic Cliffs yarns we've made - a chain-plied skein, one with thick singles marled in 2-ply, and one with fine singles marled in 3-ply 🌠 Make your own with a braid of fiber from our store, or reach out to have us spin it for you!
New handspun "Stellar Magic" is available on our website now 🌠 A single skein of handspun yarn, made from our Cosmic Cliffs colorway on a blend of 50% Rambouillet wool, 35% Tussah silk, and 15% flax fiber. Chain-plied 3-ply yarn construction at DK weight (Craft Yarn Council 3 - Light), 218 yards/118 grams. The blended fibers add texture and depth to the colors, proceeding smoothly between deep blues, pale star-blue-golds, and dark browns with deep cool sheen. This skein came out round, smooth, and fascinatingly textured!
This #tbt, take a peek at my very first photo of a finished braid of our Cosmic Cliffs fiber colorway 🌌
New handspun "Deep Space Exploration" is available on our website now 🚀 A single skein of handspun yarn, made from our Cosmic Cliffs colorway on Rambouillet wool. Rustic thick-and-thin 2ply yarn construction at an approximate average worsted weight (Craft Yarn Council 4 - Medium), 212 yards/108 grams. The vivid colors are marled into shifting relationships between bright copper and blue, star-white, and murky darkness. This skein came out beautifully textured and plush!

We're wrapping up our current custom spinning project in more ways than one! 🧶 Just the final touches left before we can send these skeins on their way 📨
Love how the process of skeining handspun yarn shows off the color progressions 🌈 And, of course, a little look at a new fiber texture...
