William and Natasha first meet when they were much younger. Natasha went looking for her mother who was said to had disappeared to an ancient city. William never told anyone why he was out in the forest alone. William didn’t speak to her much (In fact he wanted her to leave him alone), but Natasha was still friendly towards him. He decided to share the information he had on the city and agree to take her there so he could get rid of her. He shared stories of how the world was long ago and was surprised how interested Natasha was in his stories. After taking her to the ancient city, he was socked when they discovered that there was a small civilization that had built itself there. Having no where else to go, and becoming close friends with Natasha, William decided to stop his searching and stay with Natasha. They never found what they went looking for, but they both found a friend... That is until the mad king arrived.
