Just finished back to back clients and hadn’t eaten all day

I’ve never known pure rage like I had with that stupid crosswalk between me and my sandwich…

One thing I will say that will ALWAYS annoy me in the industry I chose to go into, is that when you say you won’t do a certain service, you get bashed or shamed by either older stylists or the internet.

I’ve said I’ll never do chemical (color, perm, etc) because I’m not fast enough nor do I enjoy it.

YOU KNOW WHAT THESE SUCKERS SAY!? “Well perms smell like money!” No they smell like a hay barn mixed with left over and decaying hay and feed. “Well everyone wants color/you have to do color! It’s where the money is at!” Cool, but so are cuts and styles, and waxing, and pedi’s/mani’s and facials and literally everything else my license covers.

If people tell you this stuff, ignore them. I’m not here to make it big, and the people teaching classes make money by doing those classes, not the service. If you enjoy doing a service by all means do it. If not, then you don’t have to force yourself to.

im so happy i got the chance to go to school for what ive always wanted and not to have pay out of pocket

plus im getting pro accounts for colors i enjoy and im beyond excited about it
