Fic rec! 5.5K Batfam fic featuring Tim as Robin. Chapters: 1/1 Summary: It starts with a runaway kid. A young boy with black eyes and blue tears whose voice shakes when he introduces himself as Liam.
When Tim takes his hand, it feels like he’s holding glass. He can barely bring himself to grip the small hand in his own, letting Liam cling onto him instead. B instructs him to take him to a nearby shelter before taking off. It does little to remove the terror in Liam’s wide eyes, but the boy uncurls the slightest bit. It’s familiar to Tim in a way he doesn’t recognize until days later.
Comments: This is one of those slow realizations that things at home aren’t normal and aren’t right for Tim. Lots of internal angst, lots of growly promises to strangle Jack, and warm fuzzies at the end.
