Zeffie (4) vs Luke (19)

Interesting fight. Zeffie is the clan’s only mage and healer while Luke is an old warrior who is a little scarred up by still will fight to the death. While I love both of them and they are in the same coli team, Zeffie would win purely because she has so much magical strength and Luke wouldn’t dare attack his Matriarch. A draw I guess?

Thorn (23) vs Unnamed (40)Uhh, Unnamed I have plans to turn into a spy so he has -5 fighting skills really. Plus Thorn is one of the clans best fighters and is a Guardian to boot XD Thorn would easily win if they somehow got into a fight hahaha.

Lexen (1) vs Everyn (49)

Again with the fighters in my clan XD Lexen is the Guardian of the Clan’s entrance and the one who trains dragons to become exalted and serve under the Windsinger. Everyn is a through and through fighter and is ‘technically’ stronger than Lexen (via statting but lets ignore that). Lexen sort of has a mind reading ability that would make it hard for Everyn to attack without it being countered. Impossible? No. But unlikely that anyone could best this Guardian in a face-to-face battle. Lexen wins this hands down.

not a specific card, but Flip Card mechanic?

If I had answered this yesterday I probably would’ve given you a grim outlook. However, now that the official page is up on the Mothership I have a much better outlook on Double Faced cards returning.

Why?

Shadows Over Innistrad contains 297 cards. Two-hundred and ninety-seven pieces of cardboard goodness (though you should never eat the delicious cards).

This is a big deal. BFZ had 274. Khans and Dragons had 269 and 264 respectively. Theros had 249. RTR and GTC had 274 and 249 respectively. The variations are mostly do to basic lands (though Theros also had 20 fewer uncommons).

SOI has 23 more cards than the highest of those. If we assume that there will be 249 cards without counting basic lands (only set above that doesn’t follow that is Theros) then there will either be 269 or 274 with basic lands (4 of each vs 5 of each). This leaves 23 more that could be DFCs. The Innistrad DFC checklist card had 20 cards on it, which took up most of it. So the most we will probably get is 20.

DFCs were one of the big parts of Innistrad and Dark Ascension and they also added a new twist on drafting which I enjoyed. So I would love to see them back as well.

So, I am going to give DFCs an 9/10 for returning, mostly off the back of seeing the set size.

Hey how is using a google doc for accent orders working out for you? I use the forums but its a bit clunky and was wondering what your two cents were in regards to the two mediums? [Kizmettorising here]

WELL TRUTHFULLY, this is my first time trying it! I actually just went in there to rearrange the table tabs so the proper sign up sheet is first and foremost. The UX person inside me wants it to be as user friendly as possible...which sometimes isn’t the case with google docs!

I want to try this cuz I can’t always be on FR to check the posts and constantly update the list myself. This way, a self-editing pinglist helps me see who wants what, in real time, even if I don’t have all the time to sit down and sort through posts. It’s also good for the buyer, because they secure their spot themselves.

However, those unfamiliar with spreadsheets may not like using it, and I may lose some business. When I ping GASP tomorrow, I’m certain there will be those who still post requests in forums, and that’s fine! But I’ll be adding them to the spreadsheet as I see them, which may or may not be later than others who added themselves.

We’ll see how it goes! If it works out i’ll do it for the next accents C:

Ideal mates for your main dragons?

Well Cherryclaw and Stoneface are together, and Veigar is together with Brightspirit, Starbound with Bluefang... Idk if that will always be the same. I don’t really have ideal mates in mind for them.

Or did you mean what do they see in an ideal mate? If thats the case, then Cherryclaw wants someone strong and brave and while Stoneface doesn’t get out much, when he does he seems to fit the bill. Stoneface really has no preferences and is perfectly happy with Cherryclaw. Veigar likes smart and curious dragons, which describes Brightspirit. However, Brightspirit is rather young for Veigar and she kind of idolizes him. Sort of not a real healthy relationship :/ And I guess Starbound and Bluefang just gravitated to each other because they’re both Guardians, giving them something in common.
