STEVEN didn’t want to be that person. He didn’t want to kiss a married man, but it was an accident. A poor misguided accident on his behalf. Really, he should have checked that his shoe laces were tied before heading out onto the streets of Brieve…Which is how he happened to fall into , face first, lips to lips. STEVEN froze as soon as it happened. He knew of of course, most people in Brieve did after the huge wedding that happened a few months back.

“I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean it! Please don’t tell your husband!” STEVEN was gonna be dead. RIP STEVEN.

“I love the sound of rain on the roof.”

It was funny how such a random encounter, namely a doughnut war in a bakery, had lead to her becoming fast friends with Aoba but she couldn’t say she regretted it. In fact, in hindsight it had actually become a rather fond memory and they often re-enacted the war for the fun of it when they popped in to visit each other.

They had just spent a couple of rounds duelling over a plate of chocolate eclairs that Kajika’s personal chef had made earlier in the day, the spoils more or less evenly divided between them, when a storm hit. Kajika had requested tea to be brewed so that they could enjoy their baked treats in between sipping tea in front of the living room fire while they waited for the storm to clear.

“I love the sound of rain on the roof.”

Having her mouth full food, Kajika merely nodded in approval at the comment as she too found the melodic rhythm of rain hitting the roof to be rather soothing. It wasn’t long after the tea and eclairs had been demolished that the two of them drifted off into slumber, the rain on the roof having lulled them to sleep with it’s comforting lullaby.

"This is bad."

With a defeated sigh, Aoba stares at his mess of a closet. He'd turned every piece of clothing, trying to find a suitable pair of pants to wear for a quick grocery store run but all his jeans were either in the wash or in the dryer. The only thing left for him to wear was...

"I'll be back in a bit, Ren." the bluenet tells his obedient Allmate as he prepares to step out in a plain long-sleeved shirt paired with shorts so small Aoba could swear they weren't even his. But it was the only thing left in his closet so it would have to do.

As he stepped out of his apartment, he only hoped no one he knew would recognize him in these tiny shorts. Or that no one took any notice of how his legs look terribly girly.

"... It's better than running out in boxers, I suppose." Aoba mutters as he begins a quick jog to the store.

{♣} — Komaeda is often deemed as a pretty friendly guy. He greets people with a warm smile, rarely talks bad about others behind their backs, and when chancing upon going to door with someone at the same time, he would always grant them the offer to go first. He is a selfless friendly guy who would be more than delighted to be anybody's best friend.

So why in the world couldn't he find the courage to ask his fellow colleague at Track 9 Pizza whether or not he wants to go home from work together? Based on what he had heard, they don't live that for off from each other after all and yet Komaeda always finds himself staying at work for a couple more minutes after watching Aoba leave just so he wouldn't have to bother him with his presence while walking home.

Komaeda could have easily gone home with Momotarou but the guy didn't show up for work today, leaving the pale-haired boy with nothing but a dull boring day. A sigh escapes his lips as he slides his jacket on before shutting his locker closed. Hesitantly, he transfers his gaze over to where Aoba is standing who appears to be busy fixing something in his locker while already clad in his casual outfit after changing from his uniform. Komaeda opens his mouth to initiate a conversation but no word slips out much to his disappointment.

He's not entirely sure what's stopping him from befriending Aoba. Komaeda had once considered the feeling of infatuation but he had been infatuated before and it's clearly not that. Could it be intimidation? He's not certain what but there's just something Aoba that seems off to him.

"A-Aoba-san...!" The younger boy begins with a tone that can be viewed as too desperate. "...you... um... going home now?"
