It’s finally finished after two wood chiseling incidents on the same finger and a few incidents while rasping it Raven’s knife/dagger is finally finished. I started it back in October for Halloween but, that didn’t really work out but, it is done for the convention in a few days.

I was thinking of making a separate handle and switching out the blade for Schwann’s weapon I don’t know what his sheath looks like so I’d just use Raven’s for it. I do want to cosplay as Schwann one day.

All I really need to do now for my Raven cosplay is to stylize the wig... fun lol

Man what a week!

I got my cosplay finished enough to finally wear and just in time! Tonight I went to a Halloween party with my friends at the college and we had a blast!

I definitely need to finish some accessories in the future (as well as find a more permanent solution for my boots that isn’t paint), but I’m really happy I finally did it!! 😭

I can finally hem the skirt of my Sailor Jupiter outfit!

I posted about a month ago about my hemming problem. I originally put in a zipper that ended at the hip roll (last year) , which was not very functional. I couldn’t get the body suit onto my mannequin to hem my skirt which was related to the fact that my zipper was too short!

Thankfully, I really hate cutting out extra fabric in the case I may need it later; well I needed it later! I let out extra fabric from my skirt as well as the panties to make room from the zipper. The hip roll seam was centered in the back which also worked to my benefit.

I’ve been so focused on getting the majority of my outfit finished for this Friday I haven’t been posting much of the process. At some point in the future I plan on creating a “how to insert zippers properly into stretchy fabric” tutorial-ish thing, which is the process I had to use to properly insert this zipper!
