All of my Steampunk inspired Studio Ghibli females so far. The Arrietty and Sen/Chihiro are test shots.

I designed them myself and made the main pieces myself, except for the shorts for Sen/Chihiro. I think my favorite design is a tie between Arrietty and Sophie, though. :)

So happy! I finished my Yusuke Urameshi cosplay. Apart from hair and make up, this is how it will look. I may choose a different belt, too. We’ll see. :D

So Ghibli-A-Thon was a success!

We got through Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, The Cat Returns, Ponyo, and Nausicaa. There are so many more good ones, but it would take more than a day to watch them all.

I wanted to pay tribute with some more shots of my steampunk versions of Ghibli leading ladies. I had forgotten my Sophie in my earlier post, so that is the first picture, and Kiki is the second. Again, the main dresses and designs were created by me.

In honor of Ghibli-A-Thon tomorrow, which is what I call a day when friends and I get together and watch Studio Ghibli movies all day long, I have posted a compilation of my Steampunk Ghibli female cosplays.

The first is my very first Kiki photoshoot. The second is when I had a bit more of the costume and longer hair. The last is a test of my Arrietty. All of these are original designs. I made the main dress of each outfit.

Next in line is Sen from Spirited Away. :)
