celebrated the first of pride month yesterday by going to a cosplay meet and freaking out cishet guys

someone told me i looked creepy while we were having drinks afterwards so yesterday was very successful XD

I may have scared my fiancé while we were watching the owl house today. We were on the newer episodes (2b) and every so often without thinking I’d just start saying the lines along with the show. We were also playing stardew valley (we’re on year 2) so I wasn’t fully paying attention and I could still quote it word for word. I’ve only watched each episode twice (three times now) but I post clips of the new episodes on tiktok for cosplay audios and I watch those clips so many times that they’re just ingrained in my memory now. Now if only I could’ve accessed that while in my Amity cosplay the other day because I was having a lot of trouble lip syncing to the audios but I was also trying to make sure my acting was good so idk.

I love podcast cosplayers because they’ll cosplay as the most random side characters and if you google who they’re cosplaying as it’ll be like ‘oh that’s old Jonny Beetlebaun, he appeared in episode 76 for approximately 5 seconds, barely anything known about him, and yet there is still a cult following of this character’

Yesterday my brother and I had startling realisation that we look like C!Wilbur and C! Tommy

So ofc now we're gonna cosplay em

Also funny moment where I looked at my brother and went "WOW IT'S TOMMY INNIT REAL"

And he just looked at me like 👁️👁️ He also threatened to block me after I said "pog, innit?"

I gotta teach him cosplayer terms

I really should not have started watching Star Twinkle Pretty Cure because now Cure Milky is the only person that I want to cosplay as this year and I’ve already bought two new idol cosplays that are just laying in my closet and waiting to be worn...

...
