I know I haven’t been tagged, and I don’t have any prompts, but I figured I would participate in Inuvember in my own way: starting with highlighting parts of the costume then moving on to other things. 🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂 INUVEMBER DAY 2: HANJUBAN — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - For my Inuyasha build I made all the layers separate- the Hanjuban is the white part of the costume that shows at collar and hips. I researched standard bolt widths, then scaled the panels down in size to look visually appropriate on my frame, as well as hang down past the slits in the hakama. Five yards of fabric turned into a kimono and obi, with almost no waste to be had. Marking out the location for the collar placement on the Miroku kimono. Method for attachment will be stitch in the ditch as with the three other collars so far in this set of costumes. - This robe is both the most stressful and the easiest so far: since it is the simplest one, the details matter the most.
