Thanksgiving day update

Alright. I THINK I'm finally almost done for the day....... I've been working at all this for 16-1/2 hours and I've been up for 17-1/2 hours...... this has been a good holiday......

THANKSGIVING INFO FOR TODAY!!! My day so far and where it's going so everyone knows what's up and why I'm basically not here..... So I was up by 3. By 4 I was dressed, showered, teeth brushed, hair and makeup done, and starting on prepping for dinner today. The turkey was in before 0600. Dishes were done by 0620. By 7 we had the casarols ready for the oven at noon, and by 8 the sun was starting to rise. Come 0850? Pies were done. 9? Parade. When the parade is done the casarols go in and then we watch my dog show. After that we eat and then my dad goes to work and my mom and I go to volunteer at the senior center. My dad and brother work retail and my sister and I work in health care. This is my first year off on thanksgiving in 5 years. I got lucky...... so I'm taking advantage of it. Usually my mom comes and volunteers where I'm working but this year we BOTH get to go volunteer and I'm very excited. It's been a few years. We used to do it together every year so I'm glad I get to get back to that this year. Then at midnight we prep for Chrimis bc I refuse to let them even watch Chrimis movies until then.

My con in summary.

FIRST OFF-

For all my steven universe fans out there? Enjoy this ORIGINAL meep-morp Whisper and I made together. We call it 'Nightmares and Daydreams' it represents the chaotic mess that comes from Nightmares and how they're as crazy as daydreams and how the two are bridged together.

It was a collaborative peice.

IN THE MEAN TIME!!!

GFGR is over and so is the 2016 con season. We just got home a bit ago and I'll probably unpack this weekend.

It was a good con, and I'm VERY sad it's over. I got to see a lot of my old friends and even make some new ones! My friend TC came with me too, it was his first con and he seemed to enjoy it and wants to go to another one soon! So I hope to take him to more cons ^w^

I got to see my friend Dandi this weekend too as those who watched my vlogs saw, we've been to cons together a few times in the past but we've never REALLY gotten to spend time getting to know one another until this con. It was really fun bc it turns out we have a LOT in common and it was a BLAST getting to vlog with him and LOA.

I also got to see Erik and was sad we didn't get to spend more time together, but I didn't want to spend TOO much time with him just bc he was with his significant other and I didn't want to intrude.......

I also got to spend some time with Sierra, BJ, Sarah, and Becky. I love getting to see them and really look up to them and their cosplays..... but I'm always too intimidated to hang out with them for long and I feel like I don't quite fit in with them too much so I try to keep my distance, I don't want to be a bother....... but it was nice getting to do the photo shoot with them on Friday night and hang out with them for a bit on Sunday! I really missed them and look forward to future cons with them! They're so cool and SO talented!!! ^w^ they got mad skills!

Going back to photo shoots I did two this weekend with my FAVORITE cosplay photographer Jason! I always love working with him and honestly don't really do shoots with anyone else...... he did one shoot with me on Friday while I was just wearing my Dolly Cat jsk. I haven't REALLY gotten any pictures of me in it yet so I was REALLY excited. I also got to do a SECOND shoot with him on Saturday in the early afternoon. I was cosplaying sapphire and have been DIEING to get pictures of her and just haven't had time yet. At the last con I couldn't find any so I'm happy I'll FINALLY have some! So shout out to him for being so amazing and taking the BEST pictures. I'll have to find a way to say thank you sometime >w< he did a few shots with my new friends Sarah and Avery as well who were cosplaying Sasuke and Peridot. It was SO much fun!!!

I also got to see Taylee this weekend! I've been admiring her cosplays shyly from a distance for a LONG time and I can't WAIT for this next year bc she has agreed to cosplay with me!!! I'm so excited I don't even have words for it!!! We are going to do Caliope and Caliborn from homestuck and oh my goodness I'm SO excited!!! I'm still in shock that she ACTUALLY agreed to do this with me!!! She so GOOD! Honestly her Toph cosplay from Avatar the last Airbender on Saturday was to DIE for and I'm insanely jealous! I can't wait to cosplay together and talk to her and oh my gog I'm so excited!!!

All in all I'm sad it's over but am also glad? I'm tired and worn out and am ready to relax for a few months while I start planning for the 2017 season with my friends. I WILL be doing a couple groups including a Cavitystuck version of trickster mode group and we are also gonna try and do a REALLY cool shadow version of the same group. I'm SO looking forward to it!!! I will also be trying to get my pokemon trainer done as well as Spark leader of team instinct ((even though valor is the best team))to join my cosplay partners Anika and Kylie and cardverse hetalia with Kylie. I'll be doing Alice. I've actually got it done but I haven't worn it yet. Past that I'm gonna be doing a LOT more sapphire and Joan as well as a few others past that it'll be more Toy Bonnie, Frisk, and a few other of everyone's favorites. I WILL be doing more cosplays with Whisper as well so stay on the lookout for that as well!^w^

So keep your eyes open for the official years release of cosplays that I'll be trying to for in 2017. I know we're gonna do Cavitystuck and possibly shadow Cavitystuck, there's talk of an eeveelutions loli group, I'll be doing the Pokémon GO team leader group I hope, the PoGO trainers group, the Ruby and Sapphire pairs with my ruby from Metacon, the Caliope and Caliborn with taylee, and maybe a couple others, but maybe not too many more......

Does anyone else just get SO stressed out with life and literally drowns in a need for help but rather than asking for the help they need they just try to handle it until they crack to to point where they just lay down and cry for a couple hours?
