Hello friends and followers, new and old! I have updated my KoFi page! If you click thru to the next images on, you will see that I am looking to fund my next cosplay, which will be the titular phantasm, Boogiepop! I grew up on the series Boogiepop Phantom, which relatively had very little to do with the actual boogiepop, based off rewatch. I never got a chance to read the light novels it's based off of until recently, but it is one of my favorite series from my youth! It's a psychological-horror mystery, told in non-linear fashion. The weirdness of it reasonated with me in spite of its design and sometimes uncomfortable events. I've always wanted to cosplay Boogiepop since I first saw it almost 15 years ago on, what was it, g4 tv? It was only recently, when the 2019 anime came out, that I remembered this and realized that I *can* make that happen now!

The 2019 anime is currently available free on @crunchyroll ! I do advise that if you do not like non-linear storytelling, or are uncomfortable with blood, body horror, or self harm, that you do not watch the anime as those things (and several others) do come up as the series is often described as a psychological horror mystery. There is also the option of reading the books, translated and published by #sevenseasentertainment , but as of this point I have not yet read/vetted them to know how disturbing they could get wrt detail.

~Probably one of my biggest project so far. Read under the cut if you wanna know what I'm talking about. . . . By the beginning of next month, there's gonna be a convention nearby my city and since last year's one I've been excited to do a cosplay. First though was to do Bendy (BaTIM), but then I though it was too... Simple. I needed something more challenging. Then I though about Niko (OneShot), but... Idk, I kind of gave up on it. Then a idea popped into my mind, something really complexe and challenging to do for my very first cosplay : cosplay, dance and sing as P.T. Barnum from The Greatest Showman. It's a BIG project and it means a lot to me. His outfit is pretty complex, and honestly I don't know if I'll be able to finish it in less then a month. I already know the song by heart, Come Alive, probably my favorite song of the movie. As for the choreography, I should be able to learn how to do it, as much as swinging around an awesome top hat for weeks haha. . . . This is it, I'll probably send process of it, like how I'll lamentably miss the first steps of the choreography, and how I'll try to make the outfit as resembling as possible the original. I just seriously need some encouragement ya'll. I've been working on this since January and my boss asked to see a picture of it because we're doing a convention season project and my cosplay is being featured. All she said was "huh you have a lot of work to do."

Like, no shit. That ruffle is an hour of pinning per layer and an hour of sewing per layer. It's stacking up to be around 10 hours of work per layer of skirt. ....there are 8 layers of this skirt. I have yet to put a zipper in either because *surprise* I gained 8 pounds and now it doesnt fit without tight lacing.

Ugh. Con crunch time is getting to me.
