Be wary of TrendsInCosplay (CosplaySky)

So I ordered an imperial officer uniform back on February 6th, and never received a confirmation email even after I contacted them twice, once on March 6th and then March 26th after they told me I needed to pay $30 for express shipping if I wanted it faster, even though they advertised that orders are processed within 7-10 business days (I didn't have a deadline, but the timeframe had passed). After more than two months with no luck I'm starting to think this is a scam. I was really patient and considered how I ordered during Chinese New Year and accepted there would be delays, but after reading some reviews on transparency sites (apparently this company tends to delete all negative reviews on more discoverable sites and will even message you to remove a review yourself if they cannot) and from what I've read I'm expecting to never receive it, or if I do it will be terrible quality with missing pieces and they tend to dodge refunds or only offer you 30% back of what you paid, and if you want to send it back for an exchange you'll need to pay the shipping cost yourself. I wish I had found those reviews before I ordered from them. I emailed them today saying that if they can't give me a reason for the delay that I want a refund, so we'll see how that goes. 😑 $130 wasted, probably.
