So my coteacher is a cultural. Yeah you heard me right she is a fucking cunt and I hate working with her.

All she does is pass out packets to the students and complain that they're too loud, I'm a sped teacher...they're not too loud, they're fine.

She wants them to be silent all the time, she whined at me because I insisted that she not stick a kids desk between the floor to ceiling cupboard and her filing cabinet (around which he cannot see) and then she bitched that she'd change it but only so I don't complain to the principal.

Like the woman has NO CLUE that the reason we don't teach the way she's been teaching for 40 years is because ITS TRAUMATIC!

Seriously working with her is like being with my 5th grade teacher WHO I HATED.

I want out of coteaching so effing bad and I have an opportunity because one of my paras quit so I have to cover and I think I'm gonna take it.

I hate to just be whiny here but my most favorite coteacher I've ever worked with. Ever. Who I also happen to love as a human is accepting a position as an instructional coach in another district and I'm so conflicted. On the one hand, I love her as a human. And she deserves everything that she wants in life and I want that for her. On the other hand, her position will be opening up and it's my dream position. And my principal won't give it to me. So that means I'm breaking in a new coteacher and starting that relationship all over again with a new person, all the while feeling so angry with the situation that I don't know how to be fair and open with someone who got the job I so desperately want. I want to be happy for her but I just feel sad.
