Another question about the Rot-Cured lambs; after they're cured of their affliction, do they like wearing woolly clothes to remind themselves of what they once were? Or do they avoid wool because it only makes them more aware of how different they are now?
I suspect Poyel and Asbeel would have different reactions than Ophans and Eleleth because the former two are so much more heavily mutated compared to the latter two post-cure.
Poyel and Asbeel actually don't know they used to be lambs at first, so wearing woolly clothes is comfortable and calming for no reason they know of. After learning the truth, Poyel's stance doesn't change other than she openly prefers woolly clothes over silk or cotton and has an explanation for that.
Asbeel has it worse, ve refuses to wear any woolly clothes and considers vemself not worthy of them. If Asbeel figures out ves clothes are made of wool, ve will actually undress, even during a blizzard, and head home completely naked to change.
Ophans and Eleleth are still sheep, even if mutated, so while they enjoy wearing woolly clothes, they still have their own wool to feel and keep them warm. They themselves don't care much, but they do their best to help Asbeel and Poyel feel better, sometimes going as far as shearing their own wool – either to make clothes out of it, or out of solidarity. Ophans is especially hard at work to help Asbeel with ves issues.
PS. I'll be using neopronouns ve/vem/ves for Asbeel from now on, since I decided to headcanon vem as using such. I think ve would refuse to use common pronouns because ve doesn't see vemself as a person.
