E intanto noi restiamo a casa, così...
Ti giuro torneremo a fare l’amore... Per ora resta casa qui con me..
Per ora resta a casa.
Fallo per te e per me.
E per noi!!

Fake info and hoaxes about Coronavirus (COVID 19)
Nowadays Coronavirus is one of the most hot topics in the world. No wonder with what’s happening, but being bombarded from every side by news, posts, comments and rumors it starts to be hard to decide what’s true and what’s fake. Day by day we hear even more information and even more hoaxes. Listening to the news, to my friends and family, reading articles and comments on the internet I started noticing a lot of those fake info. Some sounds very stupid and unbelievable, but some may make you think about it more and even believe it, especially when you’re in panic. I always try to check all rumors to see if they're true or not, but I know that not everyone does that. That’s why I decided to create a post with all hoaxes and fake info I heard about Coronavirus. To help you and prevent you from those and from scammers. I know it’s a hard time, but stay calm and always check your info before spreading it further! I hope this post will be helpful!
Masks will prevent you from getting ill - FALSE!
Medical masks mostly prevent those who are already ill from spreading the virus. Coronavirus transmits through respiratory droplets, so when an infected person coughs or sneezes, it helps not spreading it further. If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of an already infected person, because it protect your mouth and nose. It can also help you remember to not touch your mouth area, but it doesn’t protect your eyes which also have a mucous membrane! Just don’t touch your face and wash your hands a lot. ALSO, remember that masks should be changed everyday! Go to the World Health Organization site to know more
Often drinking will help destroying the virus - FALSE!
This one I heard today from my mom’s friend and I checked it immediately, because it sounded so unbelievable. There’s a rumor saying you should drink a lot, so the virus couldn’t stay in your throat and go to your lungs, but instead be washed down to your stomach where an acid would “kill” it. NO. It doesn’t work like that. Drinking more water IS good for you, but it won’t keep anyone from catching the virus. Same with salted water. Read more here and here
Checking if you’re infected by holding a deep breath for 10 seconds - FALSE!
The rumor says if you complete it successfully without coughing, any discomfort, stiffness and etc, you’re not infected. As Dr. Loren Rauch said “That’s not true. That can check if you are anxious or have respiratory compromise,” so it’s not a proof! If you feel like you may be infected, contact your doctor. Read more here
Amulets, vitamins, essential oils, toothpastes, etc will cure coronavirus or prevent from getting the virus - FALSE!
Lately we can hear a lot about fake treatments and cures that showed up all around the world. Be careful and don’t let anyone scam you! If you’ll find an info about a product that can help you with the virus, check it! Don’t buy it before finding any medical proofs that it may be helpful. There’s a lot of disgusting people who just want to make money on those who are scared and would do anything to protect themselves and their families. To date, there is no specific medicine recommended to prevent or treat the COVID-19. So be careful with those!
Zinc, Vitamin C and other products helping your immunity system will prevent you from getting ill - FALSE!
The same as above. A lot of companies right now advertise their “immunity boosting” products as a magical products that will help you not getting ill. Unfortunately, there’s no evidence that such products will help, so be careful and don’t overbuy those. Read more here
High temperatures and sun can “kill” the virus - FALSE!
Stated by the WHO “COVID-19 can be transmitted in ALL AREAS, including areas with hot and humid weather”. There’s no evidence that high temperatures in sunny days and low temperatures with snow can damage the virus. Our body temperature is about 37C, and it survives it. The temperature would have to reach over 60C to be effective and the ultraviolet rays outside cannot reach the intensity of ultraviolet lamps, so the virus can't be “killed” by the sun. Read more here
Using alcohol, chlorine, bleach and ultraviolet lamps to kill viruses on your body - FAL..! Well, yes and no
Yes, it is true that alcohol, chlorine and ultraviolet CAN kill it (ofc only if it’s still outside and not inside), but DON’T USE IT ON YOUR BODY! It’s not good for your skin and you can harm it and have big problems if doing so! You can disinfect your things with it only. For your body use soap and special alcohol hand sanitizers.
Drinking alcohol will prevent you from becoming sick - FALSE!
There’s no evidences that drinking alcohol will help with it, and it can even have the opposite effect (and not talking about those who died because of alcohol poisoning, trying to prevent themselves from being infected OTL). It can weaken your immune system and makes you more prone to get ill. Read more here
You can be infected by your pet - FALSE!
This one was most shocking for me, and not because it’s false, or bc it might be possible, but because people even without evidences that this is true GET RID OF THEIR ANIMALS. My family is really close to one of the animal shelter in my city. We work there and help as a volunteers and we see what’s happening, we hear stories, even in news. People are giving away, abandoning and even killing their or someone else’s pets in fear of getting sick. In fact, there is no evidences that pets can get sick and infect their owners. As Sheila McClelland wrote “Present evidence suggests that dogs are no more of a risk of spreading than inanimate objects such as door handles”. Of course this topic is still under a research, but there’s no need of harming and abandoning animals to stay safe! It’s always a good idea to be careful, a good hygiene, washing hands after contact with a pet and not letting it touch and lick your face should be enough. Protect your animals like you protect other members of the family! (But don’t put mask on them, please, there’s no benefit to that and it only stresses them) Read more here and here
I know this post is super long, but this is important! For more myths and facts about COVID19, go to the WHO site and always check it for more info.
Feel free to share it and if you heard about some other fake news, don’t hesitate to add something to the list! I will be editing every time I will hear about something new. Let’s prevent each other from misinformation!
Stay safe!

French protesters on Saturday doused the country’s health ministry with red paint, to symbolize the blood of those who died from COVID-19 and to demonstrate against poor working conditions for public sector healthcare workers.
“For years, health workers have been alerting us to the fact they don’t have enough resources with regards to staff, beds and equipment to be able to allow us to…

CORONA VIRUS ASYMPTOMATIC INDIVIDUALS DON'T TRANSMIT VIRUS? WHO.
CORONA VIRUS ASYMPTOMATIC INDIVIDUALS DON'T TRANSMIT VIRUS? WHO. CORONA VIRUS CONSPIRACY, CONFUSION GOES ON. (THE WHO DRAMA) Corona file closed after the WHO was officially involved in a conspiracy against humanity, forcing them to confess and change their sayings, and an order will be directed to all countries to open, no need for social separation, and guidance to return life to normal, the organization stated recently. The World Health Organization reaches a final conclusion that the carrier of Virus Covid-19 is considered a non-infectious person except in the event that symptoms appear on him! Therefore, it is not recommended to examine non-infected or detain them. Thus, the national survey and quarantine for those without symptoms has become useless and does not affect dealing with the disease !!! The strategy now is to search for people with symptoms and not those with the disease !! Now the pandemic is over, the conspiracy has been exposed. But suddenly the same organization WHO which seems to be really confused took their early statement back. WHO is to be wary of at this time.
