A few new “groove-tunes” have been added to my soundcloud page! This one’s a little different vibe-wise than the others.

Just a quick little electronic "ditty" that took just a few minutes to knock out! Kind of groovy mixed with a "falling-sky" meets "underwater" vibe. ...or something like that!
Another S.O.T.D. - took an older long loop which i shortened when I copied into my loop station. Then layered a few guitar bits with a different loop pedal, went back and layered more e-drum sounds over the original loop and sat behind my drums to play a few beats. Other than the very loose acoustic drumming, I dig the vibe and think it's worth exploring further.
This is what you get when you combine samples from the Nord drum module, some tweaked Korg synth sounds and a train that I happened to record while stopped at the tracks!
As the title suggests, I gave myself a goal of coming up with two bits/pieces of music for today. The plan was to take a loop that I'd already made then add some guitar, acoustic drums and see what I could do in a few hours. Here's the first tune, warts and all!
This is the second of my "song of the day" tunes. I've had this "dark shuffle" loop for a while and wanted to throw some (very basic!) guitar over it. Because I ran out of time, I wasn't able to record acoustic drums to this but I think that's going to be next. I'll be working my way towards songs that sound more complete and arranged. For now, the goal is to simply get into the habit of writing and recording more and more! Warts and all..here you go!
Another short loop recorded for future use. This one adds a little synth and piano into the mix. I then reversed that (just curious as to how it might sound..and it was cool!) and layered it underneath the "percussion" phrase. Overall, I kinda like it!
A veritable plethora of odd sounds mixed together in a sonic-stew! Or, a bunch of random sounds layered together to create a hypnotic, atmospheric vibe that's a little dark and almost creepy. Either one...
