Specimen No. 7: The Honey Bloom
Title: Strata of Memory, or The Cradle of Thought
Poem: Between the Gravities
Lining above the head
Are the silent fossils of someone's will
Marking a dull, grey rhythm
Supporting the weight of accumulated time.
At their feet,
The lines lose their boundaries
And begin to breathe.
Some swell like soft cells,
Others tear through space like sharp nerves.
Entwining, dissolving,
Emotions yet unnamed are swirling deep.
This is where order falls into slumber,
This is where chaos borrows a shape.
From the depths of silence,
The incessant tremors of thought rise—
Every drawn line becomes
An endless map called "Life."
