you've been a fan of luka and his bands way back when they were still considered a small indie band!

you've been to gigs of his back when they only had played in bars and other small venues, yet it wasn't until luka became more popular that you started dating him

you got to talk to him and a few of his band members here and there over the years, but you didn't expect them to remember you!

yet after a concert, you suddenly ended up being invited backstage, since they recognized you!

it was there that you had your first real conversation with luka, who was tuning his guitar when you entered the backstage

he greeted you with a charming smile that almost made you faint, before inviting you to sit and chat with him, while he took care of his guitar

by the end of the night, he even asked for your number and while you would've expected things to end there, he actually ended up calling you a few weeks later, inviting you to another concert of his!

once again, you ended up backstage and this time luka and you didn't just talk, but shared your first kiss as well!

after that, he kept inviting you to concerts and to join him backstage afterwards, his eyes always searching for you in the crowd while playing his songs

the two of you never quite put a label on yourselves, yet when luka got asked if he was seeing anyone during an interview on tv, he did end up admitting that there was a someone he was dating

a cute fan of his that he regularly used to hang out with after his concerts. and who he'd be seeing again the following night as well…

and that's when you realized that he was talking about you! luka had just assumed that you knew already that you and him were a thing, but when you heard it on tv, you knew for certain!

A/N : Un-edited. I set a 15 minute timer and didn't stop writing. This is what I came up with lol. Reader is gender neutral. No use of Y/N.

You couldn't remember how you got into this position. Actually, you could. 

Luka, your incredibly sweet boyfriend, had invited you to his boat house during the weekend for much needed rest and relaxation. He'd seen the way school had been weighing down on your recently and wanted you to gain back some energy.

This was obviously achieved by the heavy amounts of hugs and kisses he granted you. So now you lay in your pajamas on his bed as he sat by the foot of the bed, playing his guitar. You watched in curiosity as his fingers swiftly ran over each string, the sound humming out gently into the room.

Suddenly, you got up, an idea quickly forming into your head. Getting off the bed, you knelt beside the boy, eyes boring into the side of his head waiting for him to take notice. 

The boy simply chuckled before turning to face you, an adoring look in his eyes. "Yes melody?"

You felt your face heat up slightly at the sweet pet name but remained focused. "Teach me how to play guitar." You didn't ask him, you demanded it. 

He immediately shook his head in disagreement and honestly you couldn't blame him. "Remember what happened last time I attempted to teach you how to play?" He was right, you seemed to have bad luck when trying to learn new things. A few months back, he had tried to teach you how to play guitar only to end up with 2 broken strings. 

You had obviously forgotten this incident seeing as you were where you are now. A small pout formed on your lips as you flopped onto his lap, he moved his guitar out of the way just in time. "Pretty please??? I'll pay so much attention this time I pinkie promise," you batted your eyes at him. Attempting to persuade him. Little did you know he didn't need much persuasion. He knew he would comply the second you had asked.

This was how you found yourself in this position. You sat between his legs, his guitar in front of you and his arms wrapped around you. At first it was quite easy, both you and Luka being shocked at how quick you were understanding the instrument. That was before you noticed just how close in proximity you both were.

You suddenly remembered why it was so difficult for you to successfully play last time. You knew Luka was a good looking guy, you could see it from a mile away. So being so incredibly close to his face? Feeling his breath on your neck? The way his arms subtly flexed around you as he guided your fingers to the right string? 

Your brain became fuzzy. What were you doing again? And with that, the first string snapped. The room was silent with both you and Luka looking at the instrument in shock. Before he could even utter a word, you groaned in annoyance, falling back on him. "I tried I promise," you looked up at him from where you lay on his chest.

"Really?" he hummed out, smirking at you. You rolled your eyes, quickly sitting up and moving out of his grasp. As you put the now semi-broken instrument on his guitar stand, you began to explain.

"It's not my fault my boyfriend is so pretty," you began to ramble. Turning to face him, you were met with a lazy grin as he sat leaning back, eyes never leaving your frame. "See! You're doing it right now," your voice turned frustrated. How was this fair? 

"It's alright," he tried to stifle a smile. "If you can't play the guitar cause I'm too hot, who am I to complain?" he shrugged, only making you even more flustered. He would most definitely be the death of you.
