I can imagine Jim as a very hard worker in school, but he tends to slack a bit in math and math heavy sciences (as you said). He's that kid that always gets the comment, "Great kid! But inconsistent work habits." on his report card.

I bet math is physically painful for him most of the time. He’d rather gouge his eyes out than look at this jumbled mess of letters and numbers together. Chemistry is just as bad as Algebra. Jim’s sitting there taking notes in class, but he’s thinking “what the fuck? what the fuck?” No matter how hard he tries he just can’t wrap his head around these concepts. Its like his brain is literally rejecting them and its so frustrating.

He never wants to do the homework. If its not being checked or collected he probably doesn’t even do it, even if he should for the extra practice. He prays he’s never called on in Algebra, and he loathes lab days in Chem. He’s that one group member who never knows what they’re supposed to be doing and has to get answers from the others or risk messing the whole experiment up. And then when he has to write a report afterward he doesn’t know what to put cause he didn’t understand what the experiment was about in the first place. At home he’s just desperately Googling things and hitting his head against his desk repeatedly.

But he still tries (sorta). Algebra is agony, but he manages to pay attention for the most part, only daydreaming and doodling in the margins of his notes a couple days a week. Poor boy probably shows up one time still deliriously sick with the flu to make up a lab after school and almost catches his hair on fire with the bunsen burner. He accepts Claire’s Algebra tutoring, though he’s a little too distracted around her to learn much. 

lmao I literally took AP Bio in 11th grade so I didn’t have to take Physics or Chem II and I guarantee you Jim does the same thing. He’d rather take a more challenging class with little math over an average class with a lot of math.

I can imagine she did paint it. Like whenever Ezra would pick one up she'd do a paint job. As for Chopper, she probably taught them how to paint him the way she does in case of emergencies or when she isnt around. Like now.

I really loved how in character you made Ahsoka. She's levelheaded and friendly, but still has some of that temper and definitely isnt afraid to take charge.

Thank you. I love Ahsoka so much for exactly those reasons, and I’m always glad to hear it when people think I did well capturing her on the page. She was super fun to write!
