❝ I’m here now. I know I wasn’t before. But I should’ve been. And I’m not going anywhere. I’m not gonna let that happen again. ❞

Over the decades, The Corinthian had plenty of dumping grounds. Sometimes he’d leave a corpse in the bath in some random motel room. Sometimes the nightmare would have long drives; a dead man wrapped in tarp, hidden in the trunk. Long drives would be wonderful, music playing on the radio, the latest song jamming out. And if the bastard was alive. He’d simply turn it up and sing along.
And then his stop would be at a forest, digging up the earth to make an unmarked grave. Then the body would be dumped, buried, left forgotten. He was about to head back. However. Something—— no, someone caught his attention. A girl. It looked like a girl to him. Though their head had a buzz cut. He almost looked confused. “Hello?” The Corinthian called out, automatically putting up his southern friendliness that usually helps him out. “Are you lost? You look lost. Where are your parents?”

“oh this? it’s nothin’. i can’t take a beating.“ he shouldn’t have to. but this time, he was able to fight back. at least he is happy he was able to remember everything that mr. miyagi had taught him. “the other guys didn’t knew what hit them, right? what those guys did was awful. i know a thing or two about kids being push overs.” daniel points out handing her back her roller skates and some paper swipes. he offers a kind smile, the best he can, understanding. he knows a thing or two about hitting the ground and everyone laughing. “screw them, right?”

⧼ ☾✦ ⸻ A human child that was this far out was oddly unusual. The elven woman just stood there , looking at the orc she had tricked into killing itself before it could cause actual harm. She slowly made her way up to the girl, who had thanked her, her hand reaching out for her to grab it. ❝ MOST ELVES WILL LOOK THE OTHER WAY , when it comes to mortals ... you’re in luck that I do prefer the company of man than elven. ❞ She confessed, as she felt the small hand wrapping tightly against her palm, as she lifted the child up to her feet. ❝ Are you hurt at all, I tend to carry potions and remedies as if they’re sweets, so don’t ⸻ ❞ Hedona cut herself off, as she looked straight at the child, her eyebrows narrowed. ❝ Dear girl, your nose is bleeding. ❞ ⧽
