High School AU:
Phil was not fond of cutting class as a general rule but he’d reasoned out that he was pulling good enough grades in the class in question that he could miss one class.
As he relaxed back against Nick and an arm wrapped protectively around him, he couldn’t even mind hiding out in the dirt under the bleachers. “You can ditch American History too, right?”
Coffeeshop AU:
The idea of owning their own business had just made sense to both of them but on days like today, Nick cursed himself over and over again for every suggesting they open a coffee shop. The place was packed with people who couldn’t find their own asses with both hands and Nick’s patience with stupidity was at an all time low.
Phil’s hand rested on his shoulder for half a second; he whispered softly, “Breath, it’s almost nine,” as he pressed a kiss to Nick’s cheek and Nick felt just a little better about the day, even as the man in front of him dithered about his choice of roast.
What?

“What difference will that make?”
“You’ll spend it with me.”
“You have a budget meeting.”
“With Stern. Half of it’s bullshit anyway and if he kicks up a stink, it might get published that he prioritized what the commissary spent on meat last month over the family of an injured soldier spending time together.”
“You’re evil.”
“So I’ve been told.”
“You know you and Stark could bond over your hatred for Stern.”
“Don’t bring up Stark while I’m trying to seduce you.”
“Sorry, Boss.”

Awww, you're sweet! I will post! Their bodies and faces are all done, they just need clothes. I keep changing my mind about how detailed/fancy to make their outfits, so it's taking me a long time. :( In the meantime, here they are in bed:
