I've been researching better help. Like.. obsessively and suddenly..Because I'm disabled I can get a few discount. So instead of being $80 a week is $65. But I'm having a hard time convincing myself that I'm even worthy of help. Let alone deserve it.

hey so I'm getting a new councilor and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on what sorts of things i should ask in the first meeting to help determine if it's a good fit.

You can give it an honest go,

But you can't help everyone, especially if they don't want to help themselves.

#that's okay #there's always things that can't be helped #even when we try our best #but we can work on how we react to the results #and make sure we give ourselves the space we need #self care #self improvement #self love #counciling #mental health #emotional health #they're human #and so are you #you're human #and yes #there are moments when you fight #but sometimes #there's no shame in walking away from a situation #breathe

#so i'm going to the councilor for the first time today #and i'm kind of scared #i'm scared i'll get there and start talking and she'll be like yeah this isn't my job this has nothing to do with school #and send me away because she's only a uni councilor but i don't know what to do other than that #i tried writing out all the things i want to say but it just made me feel bad and anxious because what if i forget something #i don't even know where to start #and it's like with this there's no clear answer and i hate that #counciling #anxiety #personal #shut up laura
