cannot possibly imagine why some writers would see people speculating on where the story is going to go and change the entire path of the story because somebody correctly interpreted the foreshadowing and other tools already present in the narrative. they're engaging with what you've written in a meaningful enough way to pick up what you've been laying down. how are you not excited about that. i have a regular commenter on exdiff who's getting really good at guessing what i'm planning to do with character arcs and relationships because they've been reading long enough to be familiar with my patterns and style and that makes me SO happy. i am so excited to get to the payoff and be able to go "you were right!! you guessed it!! great job!!" i do not understand this spiteful attitude why do you hate your audience so much what's even the point of putting in all that stuff if you don't want people to figure it out

dispatch is soooo good. yes i keep cheating on the actual dispatch shifts by reloading the autosave when things go catastrophically wrong but like that's not a crime. trying to wait until all the eps are out before i change my mind on major decisions but i might replay ep4 so i can do some of the call decisions differently

like. dgmw i love both miranda and ashley. great characters each. but like. yall get so pressed about ashley saying "is it really a good idea to have aliens on an alliance ship. also i distrust turians for entirely valid reasons related to my backstory and it's a fairly common attitude among humans still at this point in the timeline." and then completely overlook Everything About Miranda's Character. she even looks directly at what happened to jack on pragia and is openly dismissive of jack's trauma. miranda's not a good person and that's a really really juicy aspect of her character but no ashley distrusting turians is the worst thing in the franchise

if you only learn things from social media in the m.e. verse you would think the sparatus household is made up of beloved citadel newsnet reporter aediteia epirian, her two space insta-famous rolzuni (palavenian pallas cats but domesticated), and also her husband, that shambling grumbling old man in the background trying to avoid the camera while he watches detective stories and history documentaries. he might be famous for something or high-ranking idk there's blackwatch in a few shots but that could be anything. more importantly look how much of him disappears under the tabby rolzu's fluff when he wants to cuddle

ok lads i finished gideon the ninth (REALLY GOOD) so we're picking a new book, ive randomized the list and added new books to it but we're doing it blind again cause that was fun last time. grabbing some random numbers from random.org, for fun. let's do 5 options this time cause the list is bigger, putting them in the order random.org gives me the number cause i suspect order of the poll has an impact on distribution when there's no hints as to what the numbers are for
