Zim furrows his brows at the tallers males statement, he ponders to himself as he tries to think back to the days where he’d venture to find a insolent human for one of his experiments. But, that was a long time ago- a really long time ago. Instead of replying, he circles around the male- now facing his back. He reaches out to lift the end of Jonathan’s shirt, squirting his eyes as peers at the toned, muscular back.

“Nope, it wasn’t me. You’d have a small, barely noticeable brand on the small of your back if it were me. I only see these little dips, or sorts” His index finger traces over each small dip. “Are these dimples? You have back dimples? I thought dimples only reside on the cheeks of human faces”

“That’s quite alright” Breathed the older with a gentle, honest smile, eyes still trained on those full, perfect looking lips. He had pondered on the subject more than he would likely ever admit; if the other had ever been kissed, what his lips would feel like. Zim visible relaxes by the single statement, although he had no clue as to why he was even tense in the first place. He doesn’t have a proper nervous system for him to be nervous. But, there’s something to Jonathan that brings forth these human-like emotions. Maybe it’s because he’s gotten used to the latter’s company, they have been hanging out more than usual lately. 

The simple touch had a tingle trickle down his spin, leaving much to be desired, although the alien would never admit it aloud. “Y-Yeah, I like learning new things.” Which was true, that’s why Zim spends most of his time in the library; not just because it’s his job, but for the simple fact that genuinely likes to learn. Now Kissing- he can’t learn that from a book.
