BACK IN MY DAY we all made cringe-ass self-insert OC’s and we loved it. Does it make my teeth hurt to think on it now? Yes. But was it an important rite of passage? Also yes.
I'm gonna sound approximately 4000 years old in a second, but I feel that youngsters nowadays need to re-learn how to be embarrassing and cringe. It's like... vital for your development as a human being. All too many young people nowadays are so worried about being cringe that they end up being incredibly boring, beige people who are afraid to do anything.
I get that the internet isn't helping with this issue, but it's high time we go cringe again, in my opinion.
