Jekyll & Lanyon ( yes really)
You know, I spent a while staring at that and wondering what it meant! I now remember the couples thing I rebloged…
Alrighty then, it we are going for Arythusa’s versions:
Jekyll is the cuddler, but only when he is drunk.
I go back and forth about this, but I think Jekyll might also make the bed. He is most worried about appearance.
Hands down Lanyon wakes up first. Jekyll keeps some pretty odd hours, so he tend to sleep late and lay about in bed for a time after he wakes up. Unless Henry is working on an experiment, in which case he tends to just not sleep.
-You know, this is really hard!-
I actually think Henry might have the stranger taste in music. I can just imagine him trying to make music with his chemistry set when no one is around. You know, using the different amount in each thing to effect the sound. But he does have a very good classical ear, and enjoys the music popular during that time.
Jekyll may be the more fiercely loyal, but Lanyon would be more protective of Jekyll. Jekyll (in this version) has dealt with depression, so Lanyon is super protective of Henry at times.
I think they both like to sing in the shower (rather bath), but neither would admit it. However they would both keep this a secret, and mostly sing under their breath.
Neither cry during movies (in this time it would be theatrical productions). Jekyll is the more emotional one, but he would never cry in public.
Lanyon spends more money shopping. He is infinitely wealthier and like to own only the best.
Lanyon kisses more roughly. Henry is more tentative.
Lanyon is more dominant overall, but both like to be in charge.
I am conflicted about this ship. I don’t like it because it is not in the book, but Arythusa made the point that the musical’s Emma/Lisa serves the generally same role as Lanyon does in the book. Kind of. And they are adorable together. So I guess I give the ship an eight, but I don’t know…
