The first time we met I had gone to pick him up, since he didn't have any transportation up here yet. While we were driving to get food he said there was a blue meteorite that lit up the sky, that I unfortunately missed. He was so excited to see it though, because he said he'd never seen one that color before. He later told me that he'd made a wish that night, then smiled at me and told me his wish came true. He never told me exactly what his wish was, just hinted at it having to do with meeting me and being together. He really was such a romantic, and such a sweetheart, yet so weighed down with inner strife. You deserved so much more, baby. I wish you'd have let me be your rock, to share your struggles. One of Anthony's favorite songs to sing to me was A Thousand Years. He was always so sweet in general, but when he sang songs like this to me he would be smiling and looking into my eyes, and touching my face ever so gently. He would tell me I was so precious and he wanted to do whatever he could to protect it. Anthony, darling, I miss you so much. When I listen to these songs you'd sing to me, I can see you beside me with your adorable little choreography and the smile on your face. I love you so much, baby. Inktober, Day 11 Like most, if not all, of us... Anthony had his own struggles, insecurities, and fears. He had good days, and he had bad ones. It saddened me how little he thought of himself, so every opportunity I was presented with I made sure to remind him of how amazing he was. If he was upset or frustrated, I'd be silly or cutesy. If he was afraid, I'd hold him close and reassure him that I was there for him and he had my support. That I wasn't going anywhere. Before he passed, I think he was starting to believe in those words. Granted, I made sure to say those things all the time but... 😆 I love you. Inktober, Day 10 At the end of our second date, Anthony asked for a hug (although I later found out he wanted to ask for a kiss but chickened out). Although we were still in the car when I was dropping him off so it was kinda awkward lol. At the end of our third date, I gave him an opportunity and got out of the car for a hug, where he chickened out on the kiss again and settled for a kiss on my forehead. It may not have been what he wanted to do, but considering everything I was going through at the time... The hug and the forehead kiss were every endearing, something I really needed and loved that he did. Anthony was never overly flirty or sexual like many guys can be, which is part of what really drew me to him. He was adorable, funny, clever, and incredibly intelligent. He was a good listener too. He told me at the beginning (I was just looking for friends at the time) that he would sweep me off my feet, and he certainly did <3 I love and miss you, baby, so very much. Anthony took every opportunity to catch me by surprise with a hug from behind. Or just any embrace in general. He'd be all *gasp* Guess what?! I'd answer, "What?" He'd say, "I love you" with that goofy grin of his and nuzzle his face into my neck. He always held me so tightly, I never doubted how much he loved me. Of course, this became a trend that we would do back and forth to each other. Stealing each other's lines and moves. Although since I'm short I had to settle for back nuzzles lol.
