Bilbo's eyes opened into annoyed slits. Something heavy laid against the entirety of his body, preventing him from any movement at all. The mountains were cold and he was thankful for the body heat...but this made him /too/ warm. "T-Thorin?"
Our muses are sleeping side by side in sleeping bags when mine subconsciously rolls over on yours.
Vaguely did Thorin register the sound of someone speaking his name; rather close by, at that. There was no panic, or urgency in the tone, as far as his sleep-addled brain could tell, so at the moment, the dwarf could not be brought to care. Instead, he simply went along with his instinct, and curled up tighter against the added warmth.
{dang here's the resend} "Well, for one we don't smack each other's arses in greeting! Huhuh!" He rocked back and forth on his heels. "In fact, a nice handshake usually works. Or even an embrace. Oh- and happy new year, Thorin."
"An embrace is not uncommon among my kin. I'm sure you have noticed that, though."
The dwarf ducked his head once, the softest hint of a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Aye, happy new year, Master Baggins."

Aragorn was in the vacinity of Hobbiton and the Shire when he thought he pay the baggins a visit. It had been a while since he had ran into the company and Bilbo on their travels and thought it time he visit again. Though their meeting was brief the first time he thought he stop and say hello once again. As he got their he knocked on the door, “A friend has come for a visit …Mr. Baggins”he said as he somewhat wanted his name at least right now to be a surprise. A young hobbit female walked up to him and nudged on his pant leggings. “Wow..Your tall mister…Why you visit here?”she asked. Aragorn smiled and bent to her level, “Well, you see…I am a ranger so I travel place to place. And if someone is in danger I help them.”he said and he nodded.

12:27:16 There was nothing particularly special about the day that would make Thorin suspect his life would make a drastic change, but when he woke up that morning, his wrist was tingling, and there on his wrist was a time…an extremely short time. He almost leaped out of bed and cursed, filled with sudden energy and nervousness.
09:47:09 He skipped breakfast because of a churning stomach, and went about his business as usual, trying to ignore his wrist and the time. There was nothing he could do about it now but accept his fate.
00:56:34 To Thorin’s immense relief and simultaneous anxiety, the day had come and gone completely normally, with no new faces or names to speak of so, deciding there was nothing for it, Thorin decided the pub was a good enough place as any to spend an hour and calm down. Why ever not.
00:12:09 Next to him at the bar was an empty seat that seemed to taunt him. Thorin glared at it.
00:00:04 The seat was no longer empty, and Thorin’s eyes were immediately drawn to a figure in a grey cloak and hood, whose eyes seemed to spark when they met his own.
Bilbo made an uncomfortable sound in the back of his throat. "Nh- uh, when I said funny I actually meant 'terrible'."
"Of course you did." Scowling at nothing in particular, the dwarf gave Bilbo a sidelong glance, leaving his hair temporarily forgotten. "Now, instead of laughing at my expense, perhaps you could make yourself useful and help me get rid of them?”
The hobbit stifled a laugh behind his hand at the hair cutting antics. "I'm not quite sure if I could even imagine you without hair. It's a funny idea, actually."
Thorin ran a hand through his hair, ensuring it was all still intact. “I’m so glad you can find amusement in this, Master Baggins,” he snipped.
