Good news…! It’s taken longer than we expected, but following the release of the new standards for Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education the other day, NZQA has now granted our course approval.

This means that we can now start on the course development work for the latest update to the most popular qualification for literacy and numeracy professional development.

Course Approval Was Great Fun

I was like one of 10 people there, and I was the only one to turn up for course advice from the Law Faculty which was hilarious. (Compared to the usual lines of 2 hours length or so....)

Had that great feeling of walking in and all the lecturers recognised me and chatted with me casually, which was amazingly awesome. I love the atmosphere here. Then I realised I've been here for four years now ;-; (one more to goooo)

Course Approval

On a sunny warm summer day in Dunedin, blue skies fill the scenery with a light southerly breeze to cool the ever sweating self. But today was not an ordinary no. Oh no! Today was the start of COURSE APPROVAL... It's a whole day of walking around getting red pen signatures on a form. Only to prove you are eligible and/or worthy enough to do the paper. Pretty much the worse part of studying at Otago. Why can't they be up there with all the other universities and offer these services online? Would save so much time. And there would be no lines. And then the course coordinators could enjoy their coffees in the sun. That's about all for my rant about uni. Until next time.
