Is it true the first year of college usually doesn’t matter? And that I won’t miss much if I magically shift to the course I actually want?

Because huhuhuuuu my mom, she wants me to experience the uni life even if it meant going to a course I FUCKING HATE, IT SOUNDS SO BORING like no offense, I know it’s probably hard to manage people BUT THAT’S EXACTLY THE REASON WHY I DON’T WANNA GO THERE eighhhhhuuhhhh

On the other hand though, I have another school I can go to where it actually gives me the course I want :D the downside though, it’s online classes only annddd :) that sounds so depressinggg . Can I even join clubs when I’m taking an online course

Also studying for college is so much harder than high school (obviously) but it feels so nice to study something i know will be important for my career 💗

I finished my book - the picture of Dorian Gray- at uni and now i have nothing to do while waiting for the 2nd lecture

However after the 2nd lecture, i should go to my prof's office to hand in 2 assignments (that he refused to accept it in paper form and insisted to have it sent on email, then changed his mind when no one sent him anything) then I'll go print the 3rd assignment and go back to the office.. 👀 Might buy a book omw back, and i gotta ask the barista in the coffee corner what coffee brand he uses cuz GOD ID WANT MORE AFTER GRADUATION. can't believe im graduating in a couple of months

(its to make sure, if he was gone after the 2nd lecture directly, hed have 2 of my 3 assignments cuz they took me days to do it ,im gonna haunt him down and give it to him IDC IF HE LOCKS HIS OFFICE, I'll wait for him -.-)

Also my Greek professor told us we're a polite class compared to 1st years :') and told us how one of them wrote his number in the attendance paper, thinking the professor might call him cuz she looks young 😂

Almost done. Took my oral exam this afternoon and I already know that I passed, so yay! Now I have to finish my research paper on Anne Boleyn and turn it in by midnight. That means that writing will resume this week-end! I'll probably prioritise the Bones one-shot then :)

one of my favourite things about uni is how even though we're all studying the same subject, we're all doing it for completely different reasons. I study criminology and in class today I found out that a classmate wants to be a police officer??? which was so random to find out (mostly bc the rest of the class is v against the police) but also I just think its so cool that after we graduate we're all going to go off and do different things with the same degree

reading yet another hypocritical fucked up email from my uni that explains that even though the numbers are rising fast again and the next wave has already started we still need to show up to lectures in person and this dumb fucking christmas concert will be happening but this will all be safe we pinky promisssseeee as long as YOU dont infect anyone. no responsibility on us only you you asshole.
