Started a political science class on coursera.org today. It's been a little bit since I've been in school so keeping up with the video lectures are hard, but I'm working on getting back in the groove of things. Luckily it has the entire lecture typed out under the video for when my head starts spinning from all the pausing and playing and rewinding and such. Good thing I started online courses before I start college in September to try getting used to it all.

I just started this course “Learning How to Learn” to see if I can find some more efficient ways to study. This is my first course on coursera.org but the whole website seems really great. I like how it breaks down chapters into small tasks and short videos. This is perfect for being a busy student on the go! They have other courses from various universities and topics around the world. I recommend that everyone check their website out! :)
I’ll probably do a post later about what I learned and what I found worked best for me!

hey guys! i want to take an intro to philosophy class online and i found one that looks really good from Coursera, however, i'm not familiar with Coursera. Have any of you taken a class from there? If so, is it worth it? Did you get a certificate afterwards?

Hey peeps, I know a lot of you (myself included) are 20 somethings crippled by anxiety and uncertainty about your identity/education/future. Recently I stumbled upon coursera, a free online education program which allows you to take college courses from partner Universities around the world on pretty much any topic you can imagine on your own time. I'm broke as fuck, and trying to figure my life out; so with higher education so expensive here in the states, this is a great way to toy around with different fields that I'm interested in without racking up student loans. They've got math, languages, computer sciences, economics, business and a ton of other classes all for free. So do yourself a favor and go check it out!
