Woke up at a normal time for the first time in 3 weeks & finally caught up on all of my lecture notes (worked through 7 lectures in total today)! Wrote a mail to ask about one of my pedagogy tasks & am currently fighting grammar stuff for ILS. So far 5h in, desperately hoping to catch a break soon – I remembered my grudge against being an education major…

I'm so awful at taking notes during lectures. I'll be half way through writing a sentence and realise I've already forgotten what the lecturer said, and then not know what they're currently talking about because I was too busy trying to figure out what words were. I know some students in my class will write notes on the lecture slides before the lecture, while some print the slides out and just make small notes on it, but I haven't found anything that works for me so far. I just sit and listen. What is everyone's else's note taking habits?

I've been struggling to focus lately, so I'm studying for like 1-2 hours max almost consistently and even tho I should be satisfied with what I can do at the moment, the perfectionist voice in me is always telling me that It's not enough and I've been feeling so guilty. We go on nonetheless 🍃
